Fred Meyer has a few good deals this week. I didn't have a lot of time to look, so I don't have a complete list.

It looks like Amazon has these $12 editions for $13 right now, so it's not a huge difference.

I stopped in there today and picked up Se7en and The Lost Boys SE for 24 bucks out the door (gotta love no sales tax). I was tempted to pick up Rescue Me S1 as a blind buy at 24.99 on sale, and also noticed that Seasons 1-4 of Seinfeld are priced at 24.99 a piece as well. A few weeks back I got 24 S4 for 39.99, and I noticed that was still on sale as well. Pretty good deals all around.

Picked up Westworld for $6.00 (regularly $16.99)! I've been looking for a good price on this title forever--one of my all-time favorite sci-fi films. I noticed on IMDB that a remake is scheduled for 2007, so maybe a special edition of the original will come out around that time. But I digress. I also saw 2001: A Space Odyssey for $6.00, plus a few other titles that have been in the Wal-Mart bin lately, including One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as mentioned above by jimbeam.

I also just picked up those two titles this week. $12 each. I've had Se7en on my wishlist for years and finally couldn't pass up that price.

They also had a coupon for $3 off the cheap MGM titles last night.

Very happy about the 2001 as I've been needing to upgrade to the Anamorphic for a long time and the quality on these newer remastered Kubrik's are very good.

Fred Meyer is a chain owned by Kroger. I'm not familiar with Meijer. If it's a Kroger subsidiary, they might run some of the same deals.
