Hey, thanks for the tip. I just arranged for a store pickup as well. This works out great because I really wanted the DVD, but didn't want to pay over $30 for it.

Thanks for posting. I actually just purchased this in store yesterday for $29.99, so I'll be going back for a refund of the difference. Also, I was able to pick up a Sin City comic while I was there that was in a stack on the DVDs. It only rang up for 1 cent, so it may be worth looking for.

Does this have any content that is not available on the comic included in the package?

I'm not sure, since I haven't opened the DVD yet. This extra comic is normal size (~6.5x10") and is titled "A Dame to Kill For."

Sounds like the extra they gave for free with the original release of Sin City. It will probably be YMMV if it is as they will only be getting rid of the copies they have left.

The comic was a promo item for the original release. Its just the reg version of A Dame to Kill For #1 (which is the prequel to Big Fat Kill, which is part of the movie).

This is a pretty decent price for this dvd. I thoughtthis uncut version was priced a little high to start off with. I just may have to see about that comic. I never knew of Frank Miller untill I read about Sin City being made.

How readable(or not) is the packed in book? I held off buying the tpbs, becuase I heard that they were gonna package it with the release, but didn't know till recently that they were gonna shrink it.

Picked it up today for $15.

That comic is thick! By the looks of it, its just the Marv story right? Woulda been nice if it was something not in the movie.

I hear you. I would assume that he used a $10 Reward Zone coupon on it, lowering to $15.

i'm sure that you do, otherwise, how will they look up your transaction?

If you paid by credit card, they can pull up the transaction that way.

If it's "A Dame to Kill For," it's not the Marv story ("The Hard Goodbye"). Actually, that would be a good book to include since it's a prequel to Dwight's story as told in the movie.

Do you remember if the $19.99 price was a special price-cut or something? Was there a sign that actually said $19.99? I called a few Targets close to me and all said that it was either $29.99 or $26.99.

However, it could be an unadvertised special that automatically registers at checkout? I missed out on the Tower Records deal earlier this week for $19.99, so I was just curious about this offer.

Thanks.
