I was able to order Family Guy! SWEET! I've been waiting for a sale like this because I refused to spend full price on the set since I already owned season one by itself (from the UK).

Thanks for the info. I checked with Overstock and I was told that the 24 Season 1 DVD set would ship via USPS. And that I didn't need to provide any special instructions for that to happen. I purchased a copy so I'll find out soon enough.

A little warning here to others who might be tempted to be greedy. I put 2 copies of Millenium & a copy of 24 in my cart and it show a 'coupon' of $4. Then I tried entering the free shipping code. As I feared, it knocked out the 'coupon' while entering the free shipping. Since I was losing $1 with the free shipping, logged out completely and then back in again. THIS TIME I couldn't get either the $4 off coupon OR the free shipping. So the upshot is that I am paying $1.33 more per set than if I had taken the first offer. Kind of funny when you think about it. Still a good deal, but I still don't know why I couldn't use the free shipping code (unless the site thinks I had redeemed it although I never completed the ordering process). The lesson here is take the discount and run! (Which I would have done if the $10 coupon others got had showed up). Live and learn.

Wow, I really enjoyed Shaolin Soccer but you may have spent too much for your copy.
Seriously, I wish I had added that DVD to my order also.

Too bad it's the same tired Fox Season 1 titles that all the other e-tailers had at similar prices a year ago. I guess it is a good deal for those who didn't pick it up from one of the many sites that had it at these prices back then.

In my view, the first two seasons are outstanding; I own Season 3 but haven't gotten around to watching it, but I hear it's great; and since it came back from the dead, the episodes have been good but by most accounts haven't captured the magic of the first 3 seasons before the hiatus. So I probably will not be completing this collection. But you can't go wrong with Vol. 1.

Just a quick update on my shipping question. My 24 Season 1 order shipped today via USPS. (I needed USPS since they're great at holding packages if I'm not home.)
