Godzilla: Final Wars $9.84 at Wal-Mart
Well, after spending $23 for this disc at Best Buy a few days ago, I saw it at Wal-Mart tonight for $9.99. Sony's prices for Godzilla are usually pretty high, so I thought there might be a few kaiju fans here who would like to know about this deal.

Holy crap!! This confirms what I thought was just a silly little conspiracy theory of mine the other day.
I was in BB and saw this title for $23.99. It caught my attention because it also had a walmart sticker on it. In fact, both copies had the BB price sticker and a non-priced Walmart sticker in another corner.
I guess this is legal? But a little smarmy for sure.

Wow! I bought the region free from Ebay a few weeks ago, but I'd like to pick this one up for the 5.1 english dub. It's a great movie, lots of fun and surprises. The American reminds me of an over the hill middle-aged Rambo tough type.

Some people just do not appreciate Godzilla -- I have been awaiting this and am looking forward to seeing it (love Godzilla, Japanese, not the 1998 one) and am even more exicted by the pricing - expected to closer to $20 for it.
Thanks again for this OP !!!

Thanks OP!
I just picked up a copy at my local Wal-Mart for $9.84.
That is a great price and I very nearly bought it for $19.50 from Deep Discount DVD the other day.

If you are ticked at BBY for charging you 2x the price, just go buy it at wal-mart and use your original BBY receipt to return the new (still shrink-wrapped) copy to BBY. Just make sure they both have the same ISBN number so it will scan correctly at BBY. (chances are good that it will)

If it hasn't shipped yet, Amazon's online cancellation process actually works really well. You can even selectively cancel items from a larger order.

What's more likely is that people bought copies from Wal-Mart and returned them to Best Buy. That is my theory. That is to say, the theory which is mine.
