Best Price for 24:S4?

Did a search so I'm hoping it's not a dupe.

From what i can tell, it seems that $44.99 is the going rate. Anything better out there?

Thanks

Fred Meyer (a store here in the Northwest) has it for 39.99 on sale. YMMV, though.

Thanks Stoney, completely forgot about the 10% at BB. Now I just have to find it under a pile of junk on my desk.

Those can't be used with sale prices so I don't see how that will be an improvement.

I was at borders today.
My receipt printed with 4 coupons.
One is a %20 off DVD 12/8 - 12/11 instore only.
Hopefully they have 24 for $45 so about $36 after coupon.

Certainly won't work at Borders. Again, those are sale prices. None of their coupons work with that. (I tried twice myself last weekend).

I am also getting this, but by judging by the patten lately with TV DVDs, I'll wait until President's Day or Easter weekend; and get it for $19.99 at one of the B&Ms. Look at what Best Buy did with seasons two and three, $19.99 for Black Friday weekend. Just got mine this morning shipped from Best Buy.com, as my store was sold out by Saturday.
Just a thought.

President's Day or Easter weekend of what year, 06???!!
You do realize how long seasons 1, 2, and 3 of 24 were on the market before a drop to $19.99 on Black Friday

good luck with the wait, your pattern is distorted

I remember Costco last year had Season 3 for 29.xx, about two weeks after its release. And I remember the year before, they had both S1 and S2 for 24.99 each, so I'm hoping such a deal pops up for S4 as well soon.

geez, I remember when I bought S1 for $22.99 in stores before they realized that this series would sell well and raised the price. I got in on the $14.99 deal from Amazon a while back as well.

What happened to those prices...

I would so buy it right now if those were ther prices. Was planning on getting 24 season 4 but the prices are a bit high. Buy.com is having some kind of deal with buying 2 select dvd sets and getting $10 off the price. Not sure if it applies to 24 season 4 but it's worth a shot. Hoping the foxstore has a deal on it soon.

I have been looking forward to this release, and Animal Crossing DS for over a year now. I am too cheap to pay full MSRP for a video game and $39.99 is atleast $5 more than I am willing to pay for 24:S4 right now.

I no longer even have OTA TV and only watch TV on DVD. It would still take me close to a month to watch 24:S4 anyway. Hoping for a good day after X-Mas price more than anything.

Prez Day or Easter may be unreasonable, but if you were implying that next Black Friday would be unreasonable, Season 3 came out this time last year and was $20 this year. I'd have waited until next year, but... com on, it's 24. LOL!

Just to have this message on topic, I took advantage of Target's $5 gift card offer on this and Roseanne S2 and used them to get Clone Wars V2 for just under $5.

It popped up in my Gold Box at Amazon the other day, which made it about $42.50 shipped. Or the same price as $40 plus tax locally. That seemed good enough for me.

Best Buy in Orlando is honoring their coupon against the sale price.

$44.99 (advertised sale price)
-$4.50 (10% OFF Dec 9-12 coupon)
Total: $40.49

Which is why those 10% off coupons are basically junk mail....they are completely worthless since Best Buy prices stink unless its on sale. I might try it tomorrow anyhow since ed had luck, but Ive never known any store in Raleigh to ever give anyone the hook up.

Worked just fine for me this morning. I've never been questioned at any of the Best Buys in my area using their coupons on sale items.

$42.50 shipped isn't too bad for 24 season 4. Amazon also has that A9 search thing to drop it by a few cents more. Checked my Goldbox and it didn't show up. Maybe FYE will do a rebate thing with it.
