The ICE AGE 2-disc is OOP, might be worth it for ~ $13.

where did you hear it's OOP, just curious, and FYI Amazon has 396 still in stock

DavisDVD informed me of the fact a few months ago. Appraently the 2-discer went OOP not too long ago, which would explain the vast quantity still in stock. DVDAF confirms this as well.

ICE AGE 2 is coming out soon, which would explain why the set is OOP.

I have the regular versions of Ghost in the Shell and Ninja Scroll. I'm tempted to upgrade, but are these new versions worth it?

I have the RE of both as well; after reading the reviews here at DVDTalk, I decided not to "upgrade."

Yeah, read the two reviews and they are definitely not worth upgrading for me even at those prices. I hate two discs sets that don't make good use of the second disc.
