Open Your Eyes ($9.28) (one of my favorite films. If you remember “Vanilla Sky”, that was a remake of this movie though I liked Open Your Eyes much more. Plus there’s a couple good nude Penelope Cruz scenes.) Do you remember the movie "The Others"? (English language), the same director did that movie (Alejandro Amenábar)
Y Tu Mama Tambien ($9.12)

Butterfly ($9.36) Well worth this price.

Tango is a, well, beautiful movie. Not a great plot, but worth watching due to it being, well, a very beautiful movie. Hard to explain. It’s not worth the $21.46 though, I’d say rent it but I doubt you’d find it in a rental store.

The Grandfather ($13.80) is a pretty good movie, nominated for best foreign picture.

Nine Queens is a really good movie, though overpriced at $22.06. Look for this in the rental stores (which is how I saw it).

Official Story ($13.97) might be worth it though I’ve never seen it. It won the Best Foreign Picture academy award in ’85. Be careful on this one, there’s a crappy older DVD version and a nice newer DVD version, I’m not sure which one DDD has. Last summer they were showing the picture of the crappy version but the details on the newer version, they ignored my question on which version they actually carried so I didn't buy it.

Maria Full of Grace ($13.26) is definitely worth watching, but since the actress was nominated for best actress last year it’s easily available in rental stores. Not sure if it's worth $13.26 - 20% though, it wouldn't have that much replay value (at least to me). Definately watch it, but consider renting it.

Devil’s Backbone ($13.91) is also a decent movie, but rent it if you can.

Intacto ($9.28)… hmm… I saw this movie a few years back. Reading through the description I remember most of the scenes they talk about, but I can’t remember anything else about this movie. Guess it didn’t make that much of an impact on me. But the price is good.

Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down, directed by Pedro Almodovar, is also one of my favorites but I can’t find it at DDD.

One thing this sale is showing in spades to alot of DVDtalk members- many people are not waiting on HD discs to get their movie fix, not by a long shot.
