I've never had anything but great customer service from Digital Eyes or DVDPlanet. I have never returned damaged sets via email. I have always called their CS number.

DVD Planet has been great for selling used discs and I have received nothing but the best in customer service from them.

The store credit was placed on my account within a few weeks of shipping to them (at most) and they have shipped my orders really quickly. In fact, I pre-ordered LOST Season 2 and received it on release day.

Just one more voice chiming in regarding the consistently excellect customer service I've experienced at digital eyes/dvdplanet over the years.
Everybody makes mistakes, and dvdplanet has surely had their share of screw-ups over the years (although certainly no more so than any other similar operation), but, in my personal experience, they've also jumped right in and have worked hard to clear up whatever problems arose. What with the great prices, used disc trade-in program and solid customer service, they've got my business for as long as they're around.

So hey Mark, now that I've said all these nice things about you guys -- any chance of another double points period on the horizon?

I agree with Gypo -- I've always received excellent service from Digital Eyes/DVDPlanet, both in buying dvds from them and selling dvds to them.

Still no Paramount HD DVD's, nor Warner 9/12 or 9/26 releases.

I used the ones for August and have been wanting to place another order but am waiting till the new ones show up. I need to order the Criterion Tati releases. :) I was hoping a box set would come out with Playtime but it looks like that won't happen for a while if ever at all.

I also ended up with a good experience on my floater disc - they emailed me a prepaid label, refunded my card, and shipped out my new disc (all before I got the other in the mail back to them (done now but I was impressed).

I never had problem with Digital Eyes for over 4 years and they were number one site for buying DVDs, but I recently had the same experience as nelslus - my order was charged twice for the same item and 2 copies were sent. My initial emails to Mark and customer service were unanswered, so I had to call to resolve the issue. The pre-paid label was sent promptly and item was credited back. I haven't ordered with them since due to my decision to cut back on buying DVDs, but I might order soon to see if it will go smoothly.

I've stopped getting the monthly coupon emails (and the weekly points update emails) ever since the two sites merged. it really sucks. and I cannot find any place on the new site to sign up for email notifications.

Are they still doing the points thing? I don't think my points changed after my order last month.

Looks like they have updated their HD-DVD site with alot of pre-orders.

I have requested Muze add the title and it should appear on the site next week.
