Prices were $15.99 on the Best Buy web page (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....equestid=98892) yesterday. Now the page is humorous. The headline banner reads: "$15.99 TV Box Sets" with prices ranging from $26.99 to $54.99. $15.99 titles? Nope!
I was in two stores (Atlanta area) on Monday. The sale TV box sets were not consolidated in one place....rather sales tags reading $15.99 had been attached to the shelves below each sale box set. I'll be in the same stores tomorrow. Let's see if they have taken down the sale signs in-store as well. Does anyone know if Best Buy published this sale anywhere?
For Shawagg: THANK YOU for the heads up on this one. I would like to use some Best Buy Bucks on these if they decide to actually sell these for $15.99 each.

My Best Buy didn't know anything about this sale when I checked for Everybody Loves Raymond in the store. Since DDD now has the first 2 seasons for $17.38 (probably in response to BBY's brief sale), should I jump on these at this price or is it likely that $17.38 will remain DDD's new price and when DDD's 20% off sale hits in November (I hope) then I can get it even cheaper?
I'm in no hurry to get them, so I don't mind waiting if I think the price will get better.

It took an age and a half to get escalated at BB.com but finally got them to research the "bug" and, hopefully, fix it. There is no link for the "$15.99 TV Box Sets" page anywhere on BB.com so I had to feed them the page address letter by letter. 90% of the way through they asked "what is an ampersand" (&) and had to start over. Finally, I just said, email me when its fixed...gotta go!!!
I didn't need Wanted: Dead or Alive that badly.
Maybe I'll just wait for the DDD sale, too.

I'm thrilled to have been able to get Smallville S1 & S2 with this deal. I ordered on 10/24 and picked them up in the store on 10/25. I had checked several Sam's Clubs for S2 with no luck, and last week's Best Buy in-store sale only included S1. Returned the S1 I bought from Target at $19 and tossed out the S2 raincheck. It's been awhile since BB had such a great deal, too bad it's gone already.
I was thinking of picking up a few others, like Gilligan, Without A Trace, and Raymond, so I guess I'll swing over to DDD.

Did they automatically adjust to the lower price for you when you picked up in store?

Rob052067 obviously got the $15.99 price online because he ordered before the prices were raised. We are still waiting to see if the prices will come back down.

Like someone said earlier in this thread, at least some (and perhaps all) of the $15.99 BBY TV sets are still $17.38 at DeepDiscountDVD. Since only exactly those season sets that BBY advertised for $15.99 are on sale, it seems it must be DDD's reaction to BBY's sale, and so it will probably end (just my guess) when they realize BBY's online price isn't $15.99 any more (in other words I decided the chance of $17.38 lasting until the DDD 20% off sale is small). I guess DDD took DVD Price Search's price $15.99 + $1.49 shipping and then subtracted 10 cents. For me $15.99 + tax is almost as much as $17.38. My philosophy with most stores is Kirk's philosophy on the Klingons "Don't believe 'em. Don't trust 'em."
So I decided to risk getting Everybody Loves Raymond S1 and S2 for $17.38 each. (The risk being paying an extra 20% when the DDD sale hits if these prices don't go back up.) Amazon is $19.97, but they don't seem to want to pricematch as aggressively.

Don't count on DDD's prices remaining stable. I glanced at their Smallville sets to see if they'd gone up since I ordered them, and S4 is now at $43, compared to $21 when I ordered it about a week ago. The others are the same, interestingly, but if you want something, I'd suggest ordering it now while the getting's good.
