DVD Talk Special Edition
According to Walmart.com, this is what the bonus disc includes:
Walmart Exclusive Bonus Disc Includes: The Skywalker family is at the heart of the Star Wars saga. Now hear the inside story of Luke and Anakin Skywalker from the characters who witnessed it all: the famous droid duo C-3PO and R2-D2! Episodes IV, V and VI are explored in "The Story Of Luke Skywalker," which follows the young man escaping from his daily chores on Tatooine to his becoming a hero in the Rebel Alliance. In "The Story Of Anakin Skywalker," you'll go behind the mask of the greatest Star Wars villain and discover how Darth Vader started life as a young Podracing champion on Tatooine and later became a headstrong young Jedi seduced by the dark side of the Force. With clips from the Star Wars films, C-3PO and R2-D2 take you on an hour long journey through the saga and prepare you for the explosive final chapter: "Star Wars: Episode III Revenge Of The Sith."

Boy, that does sound lame! A promotional clip show? No thanks. Lithograph for me as well.

Since Best Buy isn't open at midnight and I'm not a RZ sucker, er, I mean member, and I'm a Star Wars geek from day one, I'll take the bonus DVD. I plan to be in store at the local Wal*Mart at 12am to pick up my copy. I am taking November 1st off from work to do so.
As for price: Who cares? This is Star Wars. Name the price and I'm there... For any other title, price would matter, but not here.

The only reason I'm a sucker is because I bought the entire run of X-Files when they were on sale at BB, so it only made sense to join again.

Suncoast has a Revenge of the Sith patch, old-style like the Return of the Jedi patch from years ago... I'll go with the lithograph, but I'll try to sweet-talk someone for a patch. Maybe if I buy a bunch of other movies they'll let me have one...

I'm on the fence about this-I'd like the litho, but I'm a completist & wouldn't mind having the DVD, though it sounds like promotional fluff no doubt. It also costs $5 more, so maybe the litho is the way to go.

Right now I'm leaning toward Wal Mart for the bonus dvd (even if I have to pay extra for it). I don't have a BB closer than 35-40 miles so I'll wait & see if Circuit City has a nice premium with it too & if Toys R Us has anything to go with it but the WM dvd as of now sounds best to me.

I'm a RZ member, but will most likely spring for the extra DVD from Wal-Mart. I had planned on taking November 1st off work so I could pick up the DVD at midnight anway, and the lithograph would do little more than collect dust at my place. I don't even know if I have a guarantee that my BB will open at 8:00 AM, as a lot of times I approach them about special hours I hear about online they act like they haven't even heard about it.
I'll pay the extra $5 and get the bonus disc, which seems to come with a WS copy.

Honestly, none of these extras seem all that fantastic to me. Ultimately, I'd be most upset at not having the bonus disc (even if it is a glorified clip show). So I'm making the 20-mile trek to the nearest Wal-Mart on Nov. 1. I can live without the other stuff... I was really hoping that some retailer would have a slipcover for the full 6 films (or at least the prequels).

I'll go wherever the price is lowest, reward or bonus regardless.
What I want to know is if anyone will be marking down Ep II to coincide with the release. I don't own that yet. I got Ep I for free from a cereal promotion.

My RZ has given my $125+ in certificates after factoring in the cost, it rocks. I'll probably get it at BB unless our Walmart does what it did with Episode II and sells it for $10 on Tuesday.
