Was just about to post this - some nice deals there. I'm picking up Das Boot for sure.
What I wanna know is who is going to be getting the Lou Diamond Phillips 3-pack?

I picked up the Steamboy/Memories 2 pack, each movie seperately costs more that the 2 pack. Also picked up one of the Harryhausen box sets.

Just a heads up- Some of the Superbits can be had for less from CD-Wow if you go through the $2 discount on the net. Just search a bit, it's easy enough to find.

Is the Lawrence of Arabia in the boxset a good version or should I go for the Superbit instead?
And thanks OP! I've been eyeing a few of those boxsets to be honest! That Roughnecks one just came out not too long ago as well.

Off-topic, but how "limited" can that Bridge Over River Kwai be? I've had it for about 5 years, and it is still obviously plentiful enough to warrant being added to a major sale. Gotta love Sony's marketing department.

I thought Steamboy was a bit dissapointing story-wise (looked great), and Memories is fairly interesting, but not something I'd watch again soon.

Thanks, pilot. I just ordered The Fantastic Films of Ray Harryhausen: Legendary Science Fiction Series box set for $28.98. They also have the better-known Harryhausen Legendary Monster Series box set for the same price.

Thanks for the heads up. I got several gifts for friends and family.
It is a lot of fun finding out about these Amazon specials. The fourth quarter is always a good time to find DVD bargains,
