I don't see this release as a Best Buy "exclusive" since most on-line retailers are offering this package. My disappointment is that I can't find this packaging in any brick and mortar store...including all the Best Buy stores.
Has anyone seen this on the shelf anywhere?

The e-tailers I checked (Amazon and DDD) seem to just be offering the 3 available sets together in a bundle, not in a set with different packaging as BB appears to be. So it appears at least the packaging is exclusive to BB.

Well, it actually shows that it's $66.99 now. Still can't figure out if it has all the seasons or not.
I'm...tempted...to...purchase. Aaaaah! (But no money.... aaaaaaah!, as well)

I just saved the picture and enlarged it. It looks like the box houses 3 digipaks or amaray cases. It's quite possible that it's the individual season sets.
If so, great deal. I'll have to see what I can do about scoring one of these.

10/16 - 10/22 Best Buy prices are up
$55.99
Mr Show Complete Collection
That's a helluva deal! Unless the 55 is just a fat-fingered or misread 66.

Damn that's a good deal, about 20 bucks or so less then I paid for the 3 sets. I would rather have had them as they came out, as these are probably my most watched dvd sets.

The set was available for pickup (Boise, ID) if you bought it through website. They were not on the shelves. Looks like normal 1st, 2nd, 3rd/4th sets with a protective box around them. Got it for $66.99 + tax. Excellent deal. Thanks for the heads up.

Seems like a great deal that may be a mistake to pass up, but I've never seen this show before.
So... is this worth a blind buy? I really enjoy comedies such as Arrested Development, The Office (both versions), Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, Reno 911!, South Park, Mr. Bean & Family Guy.
I have some Best Buy Bucks from McD's and would appreciate any comments re: this set and a potential blind buy. Thank you in advance.

Yeah, I was just going through the first set today. Good stuff. Even the HBO ads (on the disc) for the show are great! If you like Tobias on Arrested Development, you'll like this! Don't miss out on this week's price (with the sweet box).

Well, I'd say Mr. Show is way better than SNL in the late 80's and early 90's (of course, being prerecorded helps). SNL is/was way too hit and miss. I'd agree that SNL in the late 80's is better than SNL now, but so would most people. Mr. Show is more akin to the Kids in the Hall or Upright Citizens Brigade (only Season 1 is on DVD, but it's a great season).
One thing is for sure, Mr. Show does have genius (and often hilarious) transitions between skits.

Anyone else picked this up as a blind buy yet?
I'm a big fan of Curb, Upright Citizen's Brigade (well the first season, since i have that on dvd), Arrested Development, and the other shows it seems to draw up comparisons to. (Actually not sure if i ever read about the Curb comparison).
Anyway, I'll probably pick this up towards the end of the week. I thought it was a Sunday and on release, but I guess it was a Tuesday release. So when I stopped by on Monday to pick it up, I found out that the set comes out on Tuesday. (However, I didn't walk out empty handed. I picked up Nip/Tuck as a blind buy for $15.99).
