Since the preorder price is $9.99 and the included ticket is up to $7.50 that means you are paying $2.50ish plus tax.....not a bad deal for this great movie.

I'm f***ing sick of these $7.50 movie tickets when a movie cost me at least $10. Don't say it's a free ticket unless it is a free ticket.

ALthough it will take some time and gas, I would go to a B&M and exchange it for one with a ticket....assuming you have a B&M close. FWIW, I didn't get my Lost exclusive disc from my online order. I guess none of their exclusive stuff comes from online orders.

I would go to a B&M but I'm 35 miles south of the Sarasota & 35 miles north of the Fort Myers stores. 70 mile round trip with my van would cost about 6 gallons of gas ($18) for a $6.50 ticket.

I bought a copy at BB and it didn't have the ticket. They were nice enough to let me return it, but I'm wondering if any with the ticket made it to the stores. I almost talked the customer service lady into giving me a $7.50 store credit...

The BB ad says that it is an "on-pack" ticket. So I'm assuming select copies of the DVD have it on the outside.

I just got back from Best Buy and their copies of The Fog had a white sticker indicating that it included movie cash/ticket (up to $7.50) for the new version of the movie. I didn't buy it because I have the last release which I'm happy with. This appears to be a Best Buy Exclusive since I didn't see this sticker on copies of the movie at another popular retailer.

The Best Buy in Manhattan here had at least 50 copies and none had stickers indicating a Movie Ticket was inside..

My Best Buy had the white sticker as well and mine came with a ticket. This is definitely exclusive to Best Buy, as Circuit City had a sticker on the front, but it was just a note stating that the dvd had a trailer for the upcoming remake.

Just to clarify, this new repackaging is the exact same as the SE releases in 2002 except for the new movie trailer (and ticket at BB), right?

The new version has an improved transfer.

Just wondering if an improved transfer has been confirmed yet by anyone who has had the chance to do a comparison with the previous release...

If the transfer has been substantially improved, I might consider picking the new version up.

Thanks. I'll probably upgrade for 9.99, but only if I find one with the ticket.

I just picked up 2 copies at my local BB (they only had 5 copies out). There was a white sticker on the front saying the $7.50 movie cash/coupon was inside, not on the box. I had not heard anything about an improved transfer, but if it is, the 9.99 price is a no brainer.
