Hard core HHGTTG fans will know what that means anyway.

Although hard core fans of the books probably hated the movie version. So maybe you're right.

Agreed, that abbreviation was just ridiculous. Should have said "Hitchiker's - $13.98..." instead. Some people just like to make things difficult for everyone else.
