Mark,

I wasn't aware the coupons are good on pre-orders. Was I mistaken?

Coupons are good on preorders. I am really encouraging preorder of this title because they will go fast. We do not charge customers for items until they ship.

I would love to order, but the $33.00 shipping to Canada keeps me from it

DDD's about $12 more for the set (if I was to use the digitaleyes coupon for $10 off at digitaleyes) but their shipping is $4.95 brining my total cost at DDD to about $151 vs $167 at digitaleyes.

I made a tweak in how we calculate shipping on the item. See if you like the price any better.

DigitalEyes please consider doing something like this when Homicide: Life on the Street comes out with its seventh and final season DVD set.

What if I wait until around the 25th of August when I get my big scholarship check from school and then I pre order. Will I be guaranteed to get the set or will something happen when it comes release day for the item and my order was too late to be recorded and I miss out?

I guess my question is: will every pre order be guaranteed (no matter how early or late you preorder the set) or is it too early to tell?

Can that happen?

Would that be the 7th season of Homicide: Life on the Street released a month and a half ago on June 28th? The same seventh season I have at home? This set?

Yeah, that would be cool.

That is freaking amazing. I mean your deal is amazing, but it is freaking amazing that they are going to do a complete series of 39 discs for a retail of under $200???? I hope that becomes a trend.

I had no idea that was out! Hopefully DigitalEyes would consider creating a similar deal for the folks who are into Homicide. amazon sells the 6 boxset, 7-series for $269, which is too expensive.

is this the same one?

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...id=1124330155/

if so, how come amazon lists it as 40 discs?

If you read the original post, it says it includes all 39 discs from the original season sets PLUS one bonus DVD with a documentary.

39+1=40

Since the Buffy set is an official release with an extra disc and not just the season sets grouped together, I think it would be more up to the studio to come up with a similar set and deal for Homicide than for retailers.

One question: why is the Buffy set listed as a 15-disc set on the description page?
