hi there, would you know if the lithos are sealed to the dvd package, or separate?

Sin City $13.99 at FRY'S, for those with one in their area. Not sure if I'll double-dip or not.

And if Best Buy reviews their price matches, they'll realize they've been beaten a lot in the recent past as I always PM CC and others to Best Buy for the Reward Points. But yeah...not sure if they care or not.

I normally just price match CC ad at BB for RZ points, but since this week CC has the lithos for Sin City I am just going to have to buy there.

Anyone know yet if Best Buy's A Dame To Kill For free book is the whole story or just a sample?

Judging strictly from the picture, it's the whole issue #1. But it's a six issue story. There's *no* way they'd give away the whole story, but it is possible that it's not even the full issue #1.

They should've just done one of the one-offs, if they were going to do a story which wasn't in the movie.

An IGN.com interview with Rodriguez last week had him saying the 2 disc deluxe edition of Sin City is coming out in only 4 months... In addition to commentaries by him, Miller, actors, and Tarantino (on the section he directed) the other noticable feature was the ability to watch eeach of the 3 stories separately, not intertwined, so each movie plays out exactly like the comics would

That would be a good reason to wait.

Until there is an official announcement, there is no point in waiting regardless of what the director says. How long have we all been waiting for the Kill Bill SE's?

Still buying this tomorrow, but I hope he proves us wrong an actually releases it. I don't think you will see anybody be angry about double dipping on this.

Curses. You're right. He promised that box set ages ago. Still holding off on Sin City, though.

I was going to pass on Sin City. But I had some Blockbuster credit left, and they were charging $19.99. So I went for it.

Without that BBV credit, I would have waited.

For those of you who want to pick up Undeclared and haven't gotten around to getting Freaks and Geeks yet, Bestbuy.com is offering $15 off this week only (through 8/20) when you buy both. It brings the price for both slightly under that of DDD's and you get RZ points for it. It's an online exclusive, but you could do instore pickup and have it much sooner than you would from DDD.

Hey, for those of you who

- don't feel like ordering online
- don't have a Fry's Electronics nearby
- have nearby Best Buys and Circuit Citys that have already run out of the free gift with purchase (comic book or lithograph set)

You can pick up Sin City for only $13.95 from Ultimate Electronics. Ultimate Electronics has had some good deals in the past with DVDs, especially the deals where you buy the DVD cheap and get a free $5 gift card on top of it. They don't have a sale ad this week, but they always state that they will have the lowest guaranteed price on new release DVDs. This week, it surely applies, and you can pick it up (cheaper double dip for those who feel the need to) for $13.95+tax.

If anyone cares....

Best Buy has the Astaire and Rogers 5 disk set for 44.99 or something like that, but if they haven't put that yellow sticker over the original white sticker, it will be labeled $6.99. YMMV, but they may have to honor the 6.99 price.

The box set should be in the Musical section....

I picked it up today. It's approximately 10.25" x 6.75" x 32 pages.

Edit: Oh yeah, for the record, there's no parental advisory sticker.

it's a "special edition" reprint of issue #1 only of Dame to Kill for. it's the standard comic book size (not digest-sized), and each copy is sealed in its own bag. the store by me had tons.
