With the different slip covers, I will have to buy at B&M. I will end up paying the same anyways.

Is there going to be a special edition of the movie released before Christmas? If so, I will simply wait.

Yeah, there should be another version with the three stories viewable in their longer, standalone forms. A blurb in Blender said it would be out pretty soon, but I have no exact date. I'm holding off.

That price is ok, but I will be stopping at Wal-Mart or somewhere and getting it on Tuesday. I need to be able to have my choice of cover. I will trade this bare bones version in, whenever a fancy version comes out. I didn't wait for Kill Bill I'm not waiting on this.

I find that whenever I read one of those vague stories with no dates, I usually have to wait years for the new version. For 15 bucks, I'll get it now and decide when the time comes about a possible upgrade.

Must do the B&M for the slipcover but that's a pretty good price from DDD.

And by the time the special edition is announced, the first wave of HD releases will likely be on the horizon.

I know, it could be later rather than sooner, but this is RR we're talking about, not QT. Our boy in Austin is speedy. I have faith.

Who knows...personally I'm thinking it'll come sometime next yr to coincide with the sequel. If Fry's has this for 13.99 I think I'll pull the trigger on it.

Very true, RR gets things done. I just read an interview with him on IGN where he talks about the 2-disc edition and the extras.

RR says it be out in 4-6 months the UBER Super Edition with more stoylines, and very awesome extras like cooking, and 20 min. Film school.

Some people are concerned about the content and some are concerned about the pretty packaging. I'd rather have a great movie than a pretty package to look at. Let me guess; you want the one with Alba on the cover? Make sure to wipe it off when you're finished.

I got the willis/alba cover at wal-mart today at lunch. It was only $15 something. I'll be sure to "wipe it off". Duh.
