Hey UNC Gibble, any stores in Greensboro have this offer or do you know?

You checked around the KC area, but you didn't drive the hour and 15 minutes to check Manhattan, shame I'm leaving work early to fix my comp, maybe I'll swing by and check it out. It probably would have been more likely had I found out about this earlier, but checking never hurt. I'm happy (and a little jealous) for all of you who got the great deal.

Like I said, Target would not buy from a distributor. They are too large of a company. There are exceptions like anything but Target would negotiate directly.

No, it's not downtown. It's in the Gateway Shopping Center right before you hit Queens.

I wanted to try a few last night, but I'm ALWAYS the guy that shows up an hour late...

So I saved myself the letdown.

I'm guessing it's in the relatively new shopping center that you can see off of the Belt Parkway. Not 100% sure though - been a few months since I drove that way.

Thanks Sabrett. I had my dad check out there yesterday while I was at work and they had nothing. I'll see if he can take another trip out there today.

I went to three Target stores in Texas early this morning (August 10th between 8:15 and 10:00) in Allen, Plano, and Frisco. I scanned a bunch of the highly sought-after DVDs like Batman: TAS, Friends, etc., but couldn't find any for $5.99. I was in a hurry though and didn't get as much time to look around as I wanted, and a lot of DVD sets were out of stock at the Plano store, so I'm not sure if there are any more stores in the area that still have this pricing in effect. Is there anyone here that can confirm any $5.99 prices today at any of the DFW-area Target stores?

MN

Brooklyn Park, Crystal, and New Brighton = no dice.

Minnetonka had the $5.99 JAWS deal.

I ran by there this morning, and there was an employee scanning all the boxsets, so I think it's probably safe to say that it's dead there. I may check back by tomorrow just on the slim hope that they put the stuff out before the prices are fixed.

Add to FL. None in Merritt Island or Melbourne. I am going to try to talk the wife into going to Viera tonight.

snagged a copy of Pocahontas for $5.99! north KC
But none of the TV sets that I scanned hit at that price. And here I was hoping for the Looney Tunes!
might hit another store tonight.

JAWS also scanned at that price, they had about 4 or 5, but I passed on that one.

question:
Why is the Spongebob Full Screen MARKED at 5.99, but the widescreen isn't?

Only 1 of the 3 Tulsa locations had the pricing and it was completely cleaned out except for Jaws, Pocahontas, and Mary Poppins that I saw.
