Anyone know if Costco is carrying then Thin Man Box Set and at what price?

Checked at lunch, and couldn't find one.

Thanks for the info. They have not been very good about the Warner box sets lately. Other then when they had the $10 off coupon a few weeks ago they haven't been carrying many of them. They have not, for instance, sold Film Noir Box 2 yet as far as I know.

Yeah, I didn't see it either. Might show up with a coupon deal in the future, but impossible to say if or when.

Unfortunately...no 'Thin Man' box sets at my Sam's Club.

Didn't see it yesterday while at Costco.

None at my Costco or Sam's. I've pretty much written off Costco as a source for WB boxes. Sam's still carries some, but not as many as they used to.

Sam's had a whole 2 copies - picked it up for 37.23
Costco has been terrible for deals lately. I think the Dick Van Dyke sets 3, 4 & 5 were the last thing I bought from them.

I bought Stripes at Costco but returned it when DDD had their sale.

Haven't bought anything from them in months.

Unfortunately for me (maybe fortunately for you), my Costco (Clackamas, OR) had one copy of the Thin Man Collection for $35 and change. Same price for the Astaire/Rodgers collection. I just popped for both online and they already shipped. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

I picked up the set at Sam's on release day, but when I was there last weekend they were all sold out. Glad to see this set sell so well. When I paid $70 for the laserdisc set a few years ago I wondered if I was the only person in the world even interested in the Thin Man movies.

You're not alone, SteveA. As my sets have also shipped (Thin Man from DVD Planet; Astaire-Rogers from Digital Eyes), I'm sure the Eugene store will have both of them tomorrow when I go there to pick up some business supplies.

The Costco in Garden Grove, CA had a few Thin Man set today for $34.49. I grabbed one

I called my nearby Costco today, asked if they had the Thin Man and the Astaire-Rogers sets and was told no. I didn't believe them, as they'd told me no before when they had sets in stock, so I went in. Both sets were there (several of each) for $34.49, and the Simpsons: Season 6 for $30.49 as a nice little bonus. Sweet! A hundred bucks well spent.

BJ's for 39.99...

$35.99 at Bridgewater NJ Costco. There are about a dozen that I saw.

It was at my Costco (2 copies) for about $35.

Didn't see it at Costco today.
