You seem to have lost the thread of this discussion. We weren't talking about which version to buy. The Matrix is a trivial example used within the discussion itself, which is about various types of releases-- boxset releases vs individual releases, and when, sometimes, companies opt to release nothing but the boxset version.

uhh, I was going by your Matrix Example. The Matrix was released in the 90s so the A/V quality wasn't that great. The one in the boxset is a lot better than that original release.

Then you attacked someone for saying that they couldn't get the Matrix SE outside of the boxset by saying that the old release is readily available.

Like you said about the Matrix set, all of the original 4 Batman movies are available individually so just buy those.

And no way would they just release the first 2 Batman movies together...they're either gonna release them all separately, in a box set, or both.

Well not going to continue on this topic since every body else alreardy stated what I meant. So if you want to buy the Batman movie, next week is a good week since it is on sale for under 7 bucks.

Somebody make a prediction as to what American Psycho's lowest price will be, picking from CC, BB, and Target. If you get it right, you win a prize.

One week is being kind for DDD shipping. 2 weeks is not unusual when I choose the free shipping. I can't wait that long for a few bucks.

The Jacket might be a blind buy. Any nice people wanna say whether it's a wise or unwise decision?

BestBuy.com has Coach Carter $16.99, The Jacket $19.99, Miss Congeniality 2 $19.99, Hostage $17.99, Cursed $19.99, and American Psycho $14.99.
These prices could be different on Tuesday with package pricing, however its not looking good.

COACH CARTER will be $14.99 at Circuit City and $16.99 at Best Buy, according to both of their web sites.

Since the two-disc SE of Scarface is the only one out there, I'd imagine that's the one in the BB ad.

Does anyone know what is going to be on that Hostage bonus disc? Unless it's phenominal, I am going to get that and Cursed at Best Buy where you save ten bucks and then try to use a two or five dollar coupon I had from the Sin City promo.

the Sin City promo your refering to is that the Sin City bonus disc coupons in from Best Buy, I thought they were only good on Dimension films?

Well, the coupons are for Dimension/Miramax Home Entertainment. There are coupons for either $2, $5, $10 off depending on what you buy. There are several titles listed and Cursed is specifically one, however since Hostage is a Miramax release I am going to try the $5off two titles coupon before I do the $2 off one title coupon.

That Hostage/Cursed combo is pretty bizarre. I guess a studio needs to do what it can to maximize sales, but that pairing would be like a Shakespeare In Love/Pulp Fiction combo.
