Batman & Robin: Complete 1949 Movie Serial Collection $16.92 at Wal-Mart (YMMV)
Just picked this up this morning at my Wal-mart. I did notice that they had it in the backroom for a few weeks, so YMMV on this one.
I saw that DDD has it for $22.06, so it's a pretty good deal (especially with my employee discount ).
Good luck in finding it. They only had a few copies at my store.

I have a question - if DVD Talk is so down on bootleg discussion (even when it's for something we'll NEVER see on DVD) why are 3 of the 4 "sponsored links" above for bootlegs of the '60's TV series?
Oh, and as for the Serial Collection sale... DDD had it for $22? Wow, I'm sure that my local Meijer's sells it for $19.99. That's the first time I've ever seen that crap-tacular place beat out DDD.

Really. Just because a tv series has "never" been released on DVD doesn't make these sponsored links anything but pure bootlegs. Mods???
Back OT--is the serial entertaining? Decent picture quality?

got one at frederick, md for 16.87, not bad for almost 5 hours......
I found a review yesterday that was hilarious, said "this is what batman and robin would look like if they had 50$ between them." and that batman at one point is driving bruce waynes car, and seems not to be worried about it, and parks it right in front of wayne manor.........
will check out discs tonight, but reviews all say good quality pic and sound.
thanks OP!!
