Is good for preorders. You can order Lost and/or Desperate Housewives for $39.00 each less 15% plus a $10 mail in rebate for each set. Good deal.
You must pay sales tax unless you are in a state without sales tax.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Simpsons - Season 6. I don't know why it's not listed in the rebate zone.
http://shop.coconuts.com/store.aspx?loc=57625 is a direct link to the DVD rebate zone which lists most (but apparently not all) DVD rebate promotions.

Also, noticed that Toy Story was available for pre-order. It's $19.99 with NO MIR, but 15% off brings it down to $16.99, which may end up being the best price around. It's a gamble but something is telling me to hold off for the B&M release week sales when this one comes out.

This is very tempting but what’s the reliability with these rebates? After doing a little reading, it sounds like their rebate departments are heading downhill. Anyone have a take on this? 15% with free shipping and rebates to boot is pretty tempting but I might just wait for a certain sale based on the complaints with the rebate success.

I would be very wary of coconuts.com
I had nothing but bad experiences with them all three times I ordered from them, and yes, the rebates were part of it. I am still waiting for one rebate from last year. Ridiculous. They also bait-and-switched price on two orders. Also, their customer support was utterly non-existent.
I would never, ever recommend them to anyone I cared about.
My 2 cents.

I've done two TWEC rebates. Simpsons Season 5 $7 rebate in January from FYE and Charmed Season 1 $10 from coconuts.com in February.
The Simpsons rebate was sent 1/29, received 3/15. Rebate handled by Parago/RebatesHQ.com
The Charmed rebate took much longer. Sent 2/14, received 5/9. Rebated handled by Archway/TWEC.Archway.com.
So it was 6 weeks with Parago vs almost 3 months with Archway. For upcoming coconuts rebates, I see that Seinfeld Season 4 is an Archway rebate (expect a long wait) while the Simpsons Season 6 is a Parago one.

this coupon is better than the FYE.com one since it's free budget S&H on all orders not just orders over $49 like with the FYE.com coupon.
Also, it's good to compare prices between the 2 sites since sometimes they're different. E.g. Scrubs Season 1 is $31.99 before $7 rebate at FYE.com and $29.99 before $7 rebate at Coconuts.com. I ended up ordering Scrubs Season 1 at Coconuts.com:
$29.99 - 15 % = $25.49 + 8.625% NYC Tax = $27.69
$27.69 + $0.37 Stamp - $7 MIR = $21.06
I ordered Seinfeld S4, Lost Season 1, and Desperate Housewives S1 at FYE.com since they were the same prices at Coconuts.com. The reason why I bought these at FYE.com instead of Coconuts.com is because there aren't any physical Coconuts stores in NYC where I could return them if I found a better deal on release week.
Seinfeld S4 = $34.99 - 15 % = $29.74 + 8.625% NYC Tax = $32.31
$32.31 + $0.37 Stamp - $10 MIR = $22.68
Lost Season 1 & Desperate Housewives Season 1 are both:
$39.99 - 15% = $33.99 + 8.625% NYC Tax = $36.92
$36.92 + $0.37 Stamp - $10 MIR = $27.29
$21.06 + $22.68 + $27.29 + $27.29 = $98.32.
Also of note is that Buena Vista releases usually have a UPC sticker on top of the original UPC (the UPC sticker is to denote different security devices and what not) so you don't have to cut up the UPC off of the box.
I'm gonna have to cut the UPC for Seinfeld but more likely I'm gonna try to make a high resolution copy on photo paper.

I'd like to use the 15% off/free budget shipping coupon on several items, but am not sure how to proceed.
Anyone have any experience with multiple preorder items on one order? Will they ship partials as the items are released, or hold the whole shipment for single shipment?

Thanks guys, in for Seinfeld 4, Simpsons 6, Dead Like Me 2.
Don't forget you still have to indicate budget shipping when in the checkout process (default is set to something quicker).

"For quicker delivery, we ship from multiple warehouses and will use the warehouse closest to your location. Also, we ship each item as soon as it is ready, so don't be concerned if your order arrives in separate shipments."

And the rebate fulfilling is another coconuts.com crapshoot. My experience was 1 out of 3, and that one took many months. Pretty pathetic. I would never consider the rebate as part of a price comparison with any other retailer.
Cocnuts.com is the most unreliable and least responsive retailer I have ever dealt with. Beware.

I have never ordered from Coconuts.com or FYE.com but I have purchased dvds in their stores that had rebates for them. Out of the three times I sent in rebate forms, 1 time in took 3 months to get my rebate and the other 2 times it took less than a month. One thing that pissed me off about Coconuts is how disrespectful their employees can be. I just tried to return a dvd to a coconuts in NJ (I bought the dvd in a store in NY) and the girl who worked there tried to tell me that she or coconuts is only responsible for refunding the correct amount of money for the product price, but don't have to refund the correct tax. I looked at her as if she was on crack. NY has roughly a 2.5 % greater tax rate than NJ, so she expected me to loose 2.5% because her fat ass was too lazy to figure it out. Then she tells me it is impossible to do, even though I have had it done a couple of times in that exact store. I said to her that Coconuts and FYE have stores in multiple states with a return policy that allows you to return at any store in any state, but it is impossible to refund the correct tax amount? B.S.! Once I told her that what she said is defrauding the customer and possibly the state, she changed her tone. I am still going to write a letter to the corporate div. to let them know what kind of scum they have working at their stores. Overall Coconuts and FYE are shadier than most stores.
I did just pick up Seinfeld season 4 for $23 and change with a 10% off coupon and free shipping from Coconuts.com, so atleast I got something good from these swines.
