If it's a members-only coupon and you didn't get it by email, chances are the coupon won't do you any good. You'd probably need the membership card for it to work.

I ordered most of them and they came to the store in about 2 days. I currently have about 12 more on order including Crazed Fruit and The Browning Version which arent even out until the 28th. I hope they all come in by the 28th so I can use the 10 percent off coupon before it expires.

Does anyone know if the coupons for online orders can be used more than once? I'm planning out my order (and saving my $) but I want to place a few seperate orders so I can get the best value free, like not pay $50 bucks for a season and get some $15 DVD free...Also, I was going to sign up to be a member, but I don't know if I'll get the 15 % off code in time, does anyone have it?

Lovefletch, the 15% off code I used is SH94JTD. I assume any member can use it, but the fine print says it can be redeemed only once.

I just used the code to buy three Criterions: M, Jules Et Jim, and Ikiru for $57.76 total (or $19.25 each). That's below 50% off for each!

I remember doing that (ordering) last year with The Lower Depths. There weren't really many Criterions I wanted this year so I focused on the Dr Who dvds.

Mscott, how did you get those prices? I passed the sale by because when I went to my local B&N, all titles on the sale where at list price, so Gilligan was $39.99 and New Releases where $29.99. So essentially Buy 2 get 1 averaged out would be Wal-Marts everyday pricing.

You need to be a member, but if you are then you get the 10percent off memeber, 10percent off coupon (expired tonight) 10 percent off any multi-disk over $40. So;

Criterion 2 disk = $40
Criterion 2 disk = $40
Box Set = $40===============

120-40= 80-8= 72-7.20= 64.80-6.40=58.40 divided by 3=$19.46

Besides what MScottM said, there are non-member coupons out there as well for 10% off total purchase.

MScottM --- there are about 4 more member 10% coupons out there good thru most of July. I already used the ones that expired this month and 2 that expire next month. See my previous posts herein for the links to the Fatwallet forum and coupon list.

But you need to move quickly - 2 days left !!!

P.S. The sales is also valid online (not all the same DVD's are part of the sale, namely Seinfeld S4) - but some major ones are - like Space 1999 Megaset and others of that size (MSRP 200+). The same FatWallet forum has online coupons also available, which may be member only or include non-member, I don't recall. Here is one online, might be member only, that take 15% off total online = SH94JTD (don't recall expiration or details).

I placed my order and got I Love Lucy 2, 3, and 4 (I bought S1 from DDD) for only like $27 each!! I'm glad I found the B+N thread because this is even cheaper than DDD. Also, B+N lowered their prices since last week. I also picked up The Lion King trilogy and it was only like $44 (before discounts) but last week it was marked $54! I'm happy, and if anyone is looking for good deals on Lucy and The Lion King set (which is out of print and I haven't see it at many stores anymore) then this sale is a good time to get it.

Does anyone know how often B&N runs the B2G1 free deal? I'm starting to plan Christmas shopping and I was wondering if they typically do this sale closer to Christmas.

I have no idea how often this is run, but I'm guessing they'll run it again before next May (i know thats a big window haha). I'm just writing down most of the DVDs I want to buy and waiting for this sale. I save more with this sale than I do at the DDD 20% off sale because of B2G1 - 10% member - 10% any boxset - 15% total purchase coupons found everywhere online....

For the last 2 years it has been the month of June and maybe, maybe starting the last week or last couple days of May.

That is the only time that I have seen BN doing the B2G1 Free. This year they did it online as well for only selected DVD's (some in-store were available for the free one but they were not available online to be a free one.)
