No, I'm pretty sure they're saying they might have thought about holding it back, but since season 3 will be delayed quite awhile, they're going ahead with the release.

Typically it doesn't work that way, otherwise it would be considered an instant rebate. Of course one could always just save it, but why not use it right away?

Anyway, from Best Buy experience, they usually don't do this.

And my friend Dub will probably pick up Ep.1 and Ep.2 as I've been telling him to hold out because they'd be on sale cheap somewhere during release week of Ep.3,and whallah, great price! Again Best Buy shows why they suck and I hate going there. Go CC!

They've been that way in the stores for the past two weeks as well. My Best Buy has a giant banner under that shelf with the sale price on it. I wonder why they're just now choosing to advertise it.

I got Man on Fire CE today and it had a $3 off coupon for Man on Fire CE, Day After Tomorrow CE, or I, Robot CE. Just a heads up - if you were going to buy several, buy them one at a time for the coupon inside.

I'm getting all 3 so I guess I'll open them inside CC to "check them out" (make sure there are no floating discs & that they have the movie ticket inside) & use a coupon on each. Also get Aviator there for $14.99 with free The Outlaw. I've been waiting since Hurricane Charley ate my dvds to replace Episode 1 & 2 but am hoping for a box set but for $9.49 each I may not be able to resist getting those at CC too. Damn my Visa card will be getting a workout this week.

I think Batman:TAS, The Aviator and Super Troopers for me. Circuit City really has had the best prices on some titles recently. And though I doubt there would be an advertised price, does anyone know how much the new compilation Belle & Sebastian - Push Barman CD will be?

Hm, I didn't realize B:TAS Vol. 3 was coming out next week. Looks like it'll be NewsRadio (yes!!!!!), Chappelle's Show, B:TAS, and The Godfather, Part 2 for me!

Great prices from CC. I recommend people to go there early since they only have a few copies of a dvd title which really pisses me off. That is why I do most of my shopping a BestBuy since they always have an item in stock.
