Check your Best Buy store! I just got Three's Company S1-S4 for $12.99 each!
I'm still having a hard time believing this, but when I walked into the TV DVD section of the Best Buy store on Dodge St in Omaha, NE -- I saw those official round price markers attached to the shelves in front the "Three's Company" DVDs. Each season had a price marker in front of it that specifically detailed each of the four seasons that have been released and listed each one as being $12.99. Additionally, these price markers read something to the effect of "Save $10 when you buy seasons 1-4". I knew of the latter deal, but I knew $12.99 for anything but the first season (single disc) was a misprice. In fact, season 4 even had a second price marker next to it that said "24.99", which is the sale price for it this week.
Still, I rounded up an associate and he said they should ring up for $12.99 apiece. I didn't believe him, but I took all 4 up to the register anyway. I was sure that if this was going to work, it probably required buying all 4 (I didn't own any of them anyway). Lo and behold, only season 1 rang up as $12.99. But I had the cashier ask the head of the media section at the time, who happened to be the guy who told me they should ring up as $12.99 apiece. He got together with another person in the store who said the deal must not be programmed in the computer correctly. They honored the misprice, favoring that it was not the price markers that were incorrect but the computerized system.
They made up a special receipt and I walked out of the store with season 1 for $10.49 (don't ask me how this got discounted even further!) and seasons 2-4 for $12.99 each. Plus, I just noticed there is a $10 rebate for purchasing any two seasons between a certain time frame. Score!
So check your Best Buy to see if these mislabeled price markers are in any other stores!

Wait, so if I understand this correctly you can get:
S1 $6
S2-4 $12.99 each
-----------------
$44.97
-$20 MIR (since the $10 is for two seasons)
---------
$20(?!?) total for 4 seasons?!
That's an amazingly good deal, even if it is a price mistake.

Bobbin - You would need to acquire an extra rebate coupon. There is one in the season 4 set but not in any of the others. Also, there may be a 1-rebate limit per household. I didn't check the stipulations.

It did not work at my Best Buy. The $12.99 sign is only for S1, 2, and 3. It says save $10 instantly when purchasing Seasons 1-4 (together). S4 is $29.99 on sale. There is no sign that says S4 is $12.99. you guys got lucky!

Stopped by the Beaverton, OR, Best Buy today (Wed) not expecting much and, lo and behold, there were $12.99 signs for all four seasons. (Season 4 also had a $29.99 sign.) I bought Seasons 3-4 (already had the first two), and after they rang up wrong, cashier pulled the signs but honored the price.

The Best Buy I went to had the display tag at $29.99 for Season Four but I noticed a companion display tag for the fourth season did have printed on it the $12.99 price but someone scratched that amount out with a pen. Only Season one is now priced at $12.99(no thanks). This is the Best Buy near the Fairfield Commons mall in Beavercreek, Oh.

Well then I guess my Best Buy has employees who are actually intelligent enough to make sure the correct signage is up since obviously it is $29.99 (as in the ad) rather than $12.99 alone.

It's funny how like 4 and 5 posts before, both towns have the word "Beaver" in them.
Oh, Parma, OH is a NO for this deal.

Thanks for the tip. I got my Seasons 2, 3, and 4 for $12.99 each. The cashier pulled the tags but said she was putting them back up because the date on tehm was thru May 15.

Wow!! I mean, really... WOW! I've been meaning to pick these (all seasons) up at some point when I made more money. (I'm student teaching and jobless at the mo'.)
I'd be ever-so-greatful if anyone... ANYONE could pick up all 4 seasons of these for me. Of course I could toss in a little extra, or throw in a couple of dvds (that I own) your way as a favor.
Seriously, if anyone would like to help a brotha' out and try to snag at least seasons 2, 3, and 4 for me, I'd surely appreciate it! At this price, and for a show like this, I could afford it.
This is my email: [email protected] Thanks to whomever!

I went into BBY on Tuesday and looked at the table with Three's Company Season 4 and its tag said $29.99. I asked the guy standing there if that was right and he said it was. Are people saying that it was actually $12.99 at certain stores?
I know on rare occasion they've put up the wrong tags, but I'm always last to find out. The only time I got in on such a deal was some blank media marked down too cheap a long time ago, and as soon as I pointed it out that deal got pulled. If I call to ask BBY about Three's Company Season 4's price and the $12.99 tags are now there, they will pull the tags before I get there. If I drive there again, chances are 99% that Season 4 will not be $12.99 at my store just like it wasn't on Tuesday and I will waste a bunch of time and gas, not mention be late to work (I'm supposed to be there by 10 and unfortunately I can't be late every day because of what stores that don't open until 10 might have on sale). It seems like such a longshot.
I only want Season 4 because like a fool I already bought the other 3 seasons during DDD's last 20% off sale. After hearing that several people scored on this misprice, I'm drawing the line at $20 for Season 4. Hopefully that'll happen next DDD 20% off sale when it should be $19.18.

Yeah, I drove to two Best Buys (geez, with the price of gas, I probably might as well have been better off buying them at regular price, and save the gas money) and they were all regularly priced.
Still hoping someone can help a brotha' out and hook me up with seasons 2, 3, and 4. ---> ??

my store only had 2 signs up. $12.99 for season 1 and a $12.99 for season 4. they were out of season 2 so we had a season 3 price checked and of course it rang up full price. only bought season 4. it rang up 29.99 the girl called someone in the dvd department who told her that it was only $12.99 if you bought all 4 seasons. so we pulled the tag from the shelf and took it up to her. she went off and showed someone (a manager i guess) and came back and gave it to us for 12.99.
we drove to the next best buy hoping they'd have all of the signs up and we could get season 2 & 3, but they didn't have a single 12.99 sign up
well, season 1 for 5.99 and 4 for 12.99 means both for around $10 after rebate
