I ordered "Reilly: Ace of Spies", but it was not in stock. I had no idea that a low-tech, 19th Century spy like Reilly would have a big following.

Actually, when I get into my non-rent paying cycle, I might pick that up myself as a blind buy. Sam Neill is *the* bomb.

Careful. I heard the DDD had an exclusive relationship (which is soon set to expire) with A&E. You might get similar set for much less or different/better versions of these sets in the future.

Mr Bean boxset went up a dollar. They must have received a lot of orders on it.

Actually Reilly was an early 20th Century spy. His heyday was roughly from the turn of the Century through the Russo-Japanese war, WWI and the Russian Revolution. I saw this series when it first came out years ago; it is a remarkable story. Sam Neill is excellent as Reilly. BTW, the theme music is a selection from the Shostakovich film score from The Gadfly.

Edit: Danger UXB is another interesting story based on the exploits of the guys who handled unexploded German bombs in England in WWII. Pretty intense: the Germans designed the bombs with booby traps. In the US the series first aired on PBS' Masterpiece Theater.

"an exclusive relationship"? How come when I price compare, the Kids in the Hall sets and even Victory at Sea show up at all the retailers?

My thoughts exactly. You can get these titles at a number of other retailers.

Nice post. I ordered Bean, Ellen Season 2, and Homicide 1-4 (I had a hard time justifying Homicide, but it seemed like such a good deal for 3 sets).

BTW, while these prices are great, they may or may not beat the 20% off sale. During the last one, I got both Kids in the Hall sets for less ($28.77 (s1) and $28.78 (s2)). Just a heads-up.
