I'd be all over this if I didn't already have it. I used to worry about overstock bargains since they usually weren't accompanied by product photos. I always had erroneous listing hovering in my mind, but I've purchased at least half a dozen chance items from overstock and they've always sent the right stuff.

Not sure if its the 2-disc version or a 1-disc version, Overstock has 2 listings for Near Dark as does Bestprices.com. Its a great deal if it is the 2-disc one though:

The 2 disc is a great release. If it's for 6 something, that's a great bargain; I paid a little over double that at DDD.

I could be mistaken but after the initial 2 disc release of Near Dark, I do not recall any subsequent releases

There's some more Anchor Bay titles that Overstock has for $6.45. I ordered TO THE DEVIL A DAUGHTER yesterday. They also have CIRCUS OF HORRORS, but the double feature version is only $2 more, so I bought that.

I bet this is going to cause me more trouble than it's worth, but I'm in for one.

Yeah, I'm guessing they screwed up on their description and we will all be receiving the one disc version....oh well, wait and see.

Where did you see this? Anyways, I got my copy of it. Gotta love the "O" on deals like this (got Dumbo for $7 a couple years ago, The Cooler for $3 recently and now this).

If you go to Anchor bay's website and do a search for Near Dark it will list 2 results one seems to be a 1 disc and the other a 2 disc. I have never seen anything but the 2-disc one in stores and I think thats all Dvdpricesearch has to. Maybe the 1 disc is new.

Thanks OP, I had been considering this title for a while, but at that price, I'll bite. I am also unaware of any one disc version. I have gotten 2-disc Anchorbay releases this cheap before. I think this is the real deal.

There IS a one disc version that seems to have been produced only for Blockbuster to rent out --- much to my annoyance when I discovered I was missing out on the extras that I had hoped to be getting access to. I rather doubt this is what Overstock is selling.

How long does Overstock take to ship? I ordered this thing Saturday night and still haven't got a shipping confirmation email yet.

Hi everybody, I just received my order today and they sent the 1 disc version, and let me tell you, the cover art is quite ugly. Now I have to decide if I want to go through the hassle of returning it or not. Later.
