LOTR ROTK 4 disc $10 @ CC YMMV

Credit to webdu from slickdeals.net. The 2-disc ROTK is supposed to be $10 this week at Circuit City, but the paper taped to the cardboard bin says The Return of the King - (Extended version, 4 Disc Set). But if you don't have this DVD yet then you're probably never gonna get it.

Your Milage May Vary. Basically means that the offer might be limited to certain places, or might only be good in areas, outside of your own. It's like a head sup on a deal but not a promise that you'll be able to get it in every store chain in the US.

I think this deal will only work if your residence is within 14 miles of CC. Sorry

Recently the CCs have put their DVDs that are part of a given deal in a cardboard bin, with a sheet of paper usually taped to the side with a list of the titles that are part of the deal. On that sheet of paper it reads "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King - 4 disc Extended Edition" and at some places (Rockville for sure) 4 disc Extended Edition is crossed out. So hopefully you find a sign on a bin that doesn't have it crossed out and bring it to a cashier with the DVD and they give it to you for $9.99.

Mine had it crossed out. Oh well, I have it and it doesn't matter.

$10 for the 2-disc version is really good also.

I went there for the heck of it, totally not expecting to get this deal. But sure enough, the bin had it on the list. I couldn't find it myself, so I asked the salesperson where it was. She asked me, "The one that's on sale for 9.99?" I sheepishly said yes, expecting to be handed the regular version. But sure enough, she gave me the extended version. She walked me up to the front counter, rang it, and away I went. I don't know if she did a price adjustment or anything (it just shows 9.99 on my receipt). I bought mine in Houston, TX. Thanks for the great post!!!

My local CC already had it crossed out with a Sharpie. It's unfortunate because I'm one of the few people who doesn't have ROTK yet (but that's because I wait for deals like this )
