Best Buy Free DVD & Reward Zone coupons 3/20-4/9/05

I have no idea why I get these things but here's what came today.

Two coupons:

Coupon One - 10 Free DVD w/HDTV $699 & Up purchase plus $499 or more of home theater essentials OR 25 Free DVD's w/HDTV $699 & Up plus $999 worth of home theater essentials. (fine print - you must choose from a list of 60 dvd's, no box sets)

Coupon Two - Free Reward Zone Program membership with any purchase of $299 & up! (fine print - this is for one $9.99 1 yr membership)

Coupons valid 3/20-4/9/05

Got this too. Surprisingly the eligible DVD's appear to be fairly recent SE editions (from what I can tell from the pic) But I'm not planning to buy a tv, so in the trash it went.

My Reward Zone expired at the end of Feb, and I opted not to renew. Tuesday, April 5, I got a coupon in the mail to renew for a year for free. Unfortunately, the coupon expired March 30.

I've emailed them to see if they'll still honor the deal, since I didn't get the coupon until almost a week later.

what does the rewardzone do exactly? i got one when i bought a psp a few weeks ago for free but i have no clue what it does.

You spend $150 they send you a $5- certificate that you need to use within a few months. Sometimes they have promotions for reward zone members where you get dvd's cheaper than a regular customer, such as next week if you check the 4/10-16 BB post.

The free DVD's is a regular thing they are doing in-store.I don't know why they would need to send out a coupon for it.
