Another Ed Wood set update. I posted a month or so back, when it went from $13.99 to $14.99. At my latest trip to Hastings, I noticed that it was priced at $19.99. That's still cheaper than Amazon and company, but it looks like they're steadily raising the prices (perhaps because of the quantity that's been sold at the misprices, which leaves me surprised that they haven't caught on to the fact that they're still selling it for about half the MSRP).

Something else of note, the set is listed on gohastings.com as being on sale for $10.49 (with an MSRP of $14.98). I'm not sure if it's always been at this price online, but I figured I'd point it out. I'm not sure what shipping charges are on the site, but I assume it evens out to the $14.99 in-store prices.

it still says "out of stock" but you can add one to your basket and order it, so maybe it'll work again. good luck

I saw MST3K Volume 7 at Fry's for $37.99.

Not $14.99 but still not bad. I think Best Buy has them for over $50.

I picked a copy up at Hastings in Denton, TX a couple of weeks ago. They had one more at the time.

Just got my shipping confirmation. I actually added it to my cart while it was out of stock 2 days ago, so it might be worth a shot for those of you who have been waiting.

Nutty. Got an email today that they were still actively seeking my item and would ship it to me as soon as they found a copy. Then I noticed the authorization on my CC had been cleared.

It came in the mail 4 hours later.

DEAD, online at least...priced at $41 now. Glad I got in at $11 or whatever it was a while back.

Interesting. The search results still show $10.49, but the product page itself shows $41.99. There were a couple of these at the Murfreesboro, TN Hastings last weekend with the $14.99 sticker, I wonder what price they would ring up at . I almost bought another set, but decided to leave them for other people to get a good deal.

I don't suppose there's some zany scheme where you buy 6 of these (when they're in stock) and can exchange them at some store for the other versions. There's gotta be way to do this. Any ideas?

Nope. None that don't involve immoral and potentially illegal acts. And if one is going to go down that road, one might as well just steal them all and get it over with.
