Best Buy 10% coupons 2/11-14/05

Looks like BB is having another of their 10% off coupons events 2/11-14/05 good for many catagories of products. Good for up three DVDS's

I'm thinking with the Miami Vice price of $32.99 and the Raging Bull at $15.99, 10% off of those might make them the best rates available.

(not considering the Coconuts Free CD thing).

If anyone wants my 10% off the hardware stuff coupon, let me know and I'll send it to you.

I would love a coupon but I am just a cool new member. Can you please tell me where you got it from so I can try and get one. I am buying a TV this week from Best Buy and the coupon would make a huge difference.

Thanks for your help.

Tim

They usually come in the snail mail from BB. Last time, I got them after the sale ended.

Good luck using those coupons on sale items. The Best Buy near me will only use it on full price items which makes it almost useles.

I've never had a problem using these on sale items, so I guess YMMV.

While YMMV I think the "magic" here might be that the prices for new releases is considered the "regular price" for that week. At least that is what I was told during the Madden Coupon thing.

Maybe I'll try one of those this weekend!

That's my plan along with Miami Vice!

Came in the mail today in a Best Buy envelope. One 10% off coupon for (up to three) movies, music and video game software, one 10% coupon for hardware type stuff and a Rewards Zone bonus points thing if you get some sort of internet phone thing.

There was also a $5 off coupon for video games. Limit 3, no apparent min. purchase. Looks like this coupon was hit and miss for some folks only getting the 10% off ones for electronics and DVD/CDs.

Deadwood PM + Coupon

Does anyone think that there's a chance I will be able to PM Deadwood to CC's advertised price AND use the 10% off coupon? I'm not sure how I would even do it? It's my understanding that I would have to use the 10% off coupon at the register and then I would have to price match at the Customer Service desk from that price. Is there any way that I can pull this off?

I don't think there's any way you'll be able to get the 110% PM and the extra 10% off. You should be able to PM CC at the register and get the additional $6.50 off with the coupon. You'd only get an extra $1.50 with the 110% PM anyway, so it probably isn't worth your time. Not with a competent employee at least.

Sorry for the confusion. I didn't mean 110% PM + 10% coupon. I simply meant get it for the same price as CC ($64.99) and then use the BB 10% off coupon. So, you think that won't be a problem most likely then?

BB's price even before 10% off beats the hypothetical DDD 20% off, hot deal

CC's price is $64.99. BB's price is $79.99, so it is CC's price that beats DDD's price, but not after the 20% sale (if it comes around again -- and we know it will) because they have it for $66.14 which would be $52.91 after 20% discount. However, I have a feeling that DDD will raise the price of Deadwood to $74.99 after this opening week price, in which case BB at the CC price (just to $64.99 not 110% PM) + 10% off coupon = $58.49 will probably be the cheapest price for Deadwood -- at least over the next several years since HBO never lowers their DVD set prices.

I've done it myself numerous times with these coupons and the Madden ones, but I've had to deal occasionally with the unsure cashier or stubborn manager.

I had a manager once tell me that I couldn't do both because the PM was a "niceity" they offer and they didn't have to do it and therefore wasn't good with the coupon simultaneously. I pointed out the PM is a story policy and not an offer and besides, in order to be consider the "Best Buy" they have to at least match the competitors. She didn't put up much more of a fight, but didn't look to happy to do it But that was only one time out of many. Good luck!
