Just got the eMail - CANCELLED.

Guess this helps explain why I haven't bought anything at buy.com since '02.

Nope. They don't owe us anything, we're all just taking a shot at this. It's buy.com's regular pricing that makes them a non-entity since '02.

I got the cancelation email. I figured Incredibles would have been canceled, but I really hoped my Aviator score would have gone through since it ships within 24 hours.

I received the email too, but my order is still processing.

I'm hoping that this is one of those times when Buy.com's order/item cancellation system bites them in the ass. I've placed orders in the past where I ended up canceling the entire order. Buy.com then claims that they will try to cancel the order, but it may have already been sent to the warehouse…yadda, yadda, yadda…and five days later I get a shipping notice from them. If it takes the buyer more than five days to really cancel an order with them, maybe it will take them just as long and our orders will go through.

I expect nothing from this, but I will be checking on this order periodically the rest of this week.

I may not order from Buy.com again but it has more to do with there terrible customer service on an order I placed in late December.

I received the order cancellation email but my order still says processing.

On the website mine still says "being processed", but I got the cancellation e-mail from them as well. What Exactly were the qualifying purchases? All the coupon said was you needed to spend at least $10.00.

I never liked Buy.com anyways. They billed me once for a preordered item that was never in stock and claimed they shipped it. Called customer service a number of times and never got my money back. I'll stick with Columbia House.

When you clicked Redeem Coupon, it brings up 4 products that the coupon is good for. A glitch in their sytem accepted the coupon for anything

update

i got the shipping notice this morning. upon further investigation i saw that they cancelled the coupon i used and charged me full price. i got no email saying it was cancelled, or giving me the option to cancel the order all together since the coupon was cancelled.
<----not happy

I got the cancellation email. Still says "processing" on the site. Probably haven't gotten around to the cancellation on the site yet. They've got a lot of cancelling to do.

Some sites honor orders when they make a mistake, some don't.

They can't do that, it's illegal. Tell them to give it to you at the agreed price or you'll let your CC company handle it.

Cancelled both of mine, even while they are still "processing".

Sent them one of my customer complaint emails!

I downloaded an album last night and I guess they can't extract it from my hard drive! If they try to charge more now, I'd dispute it with Amex.

C'mon, folks--are you REALLY that surprised that they cancelled? The coupon CLEARLY stated that the coupon was an "instant rebate" that applied to what--three or four specific SKU's? I would have been surprised if they -didn't- cancel.

Plus, let's face it--buy.com sucks anyway !
