Is it the corrected version? Or do you have to send it to Universal to get the good version?

That is the new lower price. Been posted in a few threads already. The corrected disk are supposed to be easier to find in B&M stores now, but a few people are saying that stores still have a bunch of the old stock on hand and so you will still have to go through the normal exchange deal.

New stock has an orange stick on the front saying "ALL 3 MOVIES! LOWEST PRICE EVER OWN IT BEFORE TIME RUNS OUT!" and this sticker also says if the set is widescreen or fullscreen. The UPC on the back of the box no longer says if its widescreen or fullscreen. There is no v2 on the box. The BTTF2 disc says v2 on it, the BTTF3 disc does not, however people have checked and it is properly framed.

Sticker on front:

Thanks for the info!

Is there another thread floating around where the "people have checked" and posted?

Thanks for the information about the new set. I'll have to look out for the orange sticker.

Anyone here of a new release of this?

There better not be a 20th anniv release, how much more could they add? This trilogy already has like 10 hours of extras.

If you buy two $5.99 Dvd's it will reduce the price of the Trilogy by 10% to $17.99. It works, I did it yesterday.....

Just keep in mind that if you order online, you risk getting the older misframed edition. Then you'd have to do an exchange of discs 2+3 with Universal.

I'd pay the extra buck or two to buy it someplace where you can actually see the packaging and confirm you're getting the right set. Less hassle.

What would happen if you return the two $5.99 dvds? Would they take 10% off the refund money to compensate for that. My guess is no, but I'm a horrible guesser.

I'm gonna bite!

So what's this 5.99 thing? Is it any 5.99 DVD or is there a list somewhere?

If I remember correctly, it's an instore thing. (I think I saw it in store once) Buy a fixed number of 5.99 crap dvds, save 10% on a regular price DVD.

Hmm, I found a link on the site to a bunch of 5.99 DVDs from Warner Bros. I put 61* and Dark City in my cart but they didn't do anything to the price.

What did the OP order?

I agree. I have had this set for a while and I rewatched the trilogy last weekend. The movies have great transfers and tons of extras.
