Fry's Ads 1/14-18

Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ), and Washington state (WA) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

The items listed below are as they appear in the Fry's Ads. If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - San Diego, Sacramento, Austin, Houston, NV, AZ, OR, IL, GA), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. We have noticed that the Dallas Morning News and SJ Mercury News often run very similar ads. Also, the Chicago ads are often similar to the Seattle ads. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them.

If anyone knows of a website to view any further ads, please let me know.

Unless otherwise indicated, items below are listed in all four (DFW, LA, SJ, and WA) ads.

Ad updates:

It could be in the OC Register ad, which isn't available online at the moment.

In fact, it might be a bit less confusing if instead of LA, fido started referring to the ads here as LA/OC, since the prices are coming from 2 different ads. However, prices in the Register and Times do cover the entire LA/OC area.

Yep, it was listed in the OC Register.

I stopped displaying the difference between the OC and LA papers a long time ago. It made sense when I only posted the LA pricing. But when I added the other cities, it just made reading the post even more confusing than it already is. I was trying to make the abbreviations simpler. LA = LA/OC, SJ = San Francisco/San Jose. I did include "Orange County" in the introduction of my post, after all.

Just remember...on Friday's, the OC Register lists a LOT more items than the LA Times does.

Sorry, I didn't mean to separate them, I just meant instead of just referring to the area as LA, use LA/OC as the term. It all covers the same areas, but that way it at least conveys the info comes from two different sources.

In case anyone besides me lives in Las Vegas, ALL of the $5.99 DVD's are also valid there except for Zoolander. Sorry, I didn't compare any of the other prices. Unfortunately I don't get the paper, or I could contribute LV to this thread (but I always read it, hoping the prices will be the same here). Oh, and Matrix Ultimate is 49.99 here, not 44.99 as I had hoped...
