Been hanging around here you awhile now, and I'm now officially registered!

As a little thank you to the site for all these great deals,

I've sent out STL on the Cheers: Four Pack for all who've requested it through the new STL system.

Everyone should post their STL requests in this thread

I'm 100% positive that pil0t or another mod will delete all STL requests in this thread and ask that you post them in the STL thread.

Good deal. Doesn't it seem funny that the Season 1-3 set of Cheers is $112.49?

BTW, Cheers 1-4 sells for $108.94 at Deep Discount.

Frasier 1-5 sells for $140.98 at Deep Discount

Can someone give me more info on the Cheers set? Amazon description does not say much. Not to mention it specifically says 4-disc set. a link would be nice.

You can look up each season individually.

I already have Seasons 1-3 of each show but even their price on the 4th seasons alone are also damn good. I normally make my runs up to Wal-Mart at midnight each weak but Amazon not only beat the prices they used to charge for these sets but they also beat what I pay at Wal-Mart with my wife's employee discount.

Thanks for the heads up on the deal!

actually, I was referring to the fact that amazon lists the item specifically as a 4-disc set. is this a 4-disc set x 4 seasons for a total of 16-discs? could this be an error not in the price but the title and its actually just season 4?

thanks!

I asked if it was 4 or 16, they wrote back:

"Thanks for writing to us at Amazon.com.

The only information we can give you about a particular video or
DVD is what we display on the detail page for that item. Usually, we
have the title, leading actor, and release date. Sometimes we have a
short synopsis, review, and an image of the cover. From a movie's
detail page, click on the words "technical information" to see all
the information available on our web site.

Our editorial staff is working on building up the amount of
information we provide about each item. blah blah blah......"

The ASIN: B0006IUE1Q is for the 16-disc, 4-season set.

I'm on the fence as well, I watched many of the reruns on Nick at Nite recently and found Cheers just okay. Frasier was my favorite character on the show, but the actual show Frasier would be a blind buy for me.

I ordered Cheers Seasons 1-4. It came out to $56.29 after STL & Pi/2 Discount. $14.07 per set.

I'm still waiting for love on Frasier in the other thread. I sent love for Cheers to everyone on page 3 of the STL thread.

Again, much thanks to the OP.

The sitcom Frasier was brillantly written, wonderfully acted and a real treasure of a show with a rare exception towards the end of the run.

Buy it, and you won't regret it.

Does anyone think Amazon will cancel orders for these mispriced sets?
