Costco 1/11/05 Leon $13 5th Element $13 Village $18.29 W/O Paddle $18 +coupons

Note: Costco's stock varies from store to store, so availability may vary from store to store. Most of the new titles and promotions should be available though.

**NOTE: I'm seeing different pricing being reported by a few stores (I believe San Francisco, CA and one in New York state). Not sure if these are just data entry errors, individual store choices, or a coming change to individual store pricing for DVDs, but just be aware that it can happen.

Thanks! That low price on Leon The Professional may push me over the edge and get it as a blind buy. Quite a few good prices overall.

Blade, you have Leon as $13 in the title and $14 in the first post. Is $13 correct?

Thanks Blade

I need to make a stop and get my adjustments for Napoleon Dynamite, Mary Poppins SE, Hero, and three Treasures. That will be enough to get Leon and Collateral for free.

Prices are good for as long as they are in stock unless I put up an expiration date. As noted in the original post, most of today's deals are set to expire on Jan. 16th. There wasn't any sign for the instant $4 off on Leon and the 5th Element, so you can expect that to be good at least until this Saturday.

How do you find out about the instant rebates?

I was at Costco today and I passed on Leon and The Fifth Element thinking I could get them cheaper elsewhere. There were no signs indicating a rebate.

damn it! they did it again! same thing happened to me, trammel. I saw 'em both and was about to complement my store for actually having signage for the stuff above [Seinfield, Simpsons, SW, etc..] and now this...

It's just the Costco way. I can't explain it. It's why I do the thread too, actually. I'll even point out the lack of signage on a deal to a supervisor and they're always surprised that there's no signage already.

I think they just get so much stuff in every day that things get overlooked.

I find these things two ways: I just buy titles I think there will be a deal on (that's how I found the Leon/5th Element deal); or others post deals they find (because they bought it, or because their Costco did have the signage up.)

What I'd really like to do is to be able to do searches on one of the floor computers every Tues. morning. The deals are usually listed in the computer (they have been every time I've seen them check.) But even then, the expiration dates aren't always listed, and sometimes the deals go past the expiration dates.

I had recently bought X-men 1.5 and x2 together and got 5 dollars off both of them 13-5=8 dollars for each of them. Purchased at the costco in Norwalk, CA.

**I do not know if the other deals are there because some of the dvds I saw there were listed as 18.29 if i recall. Are all the costco's having the 5 dollar deal off? Such as 5 bucks off Leon the professional, collateral, etc....

Also did not have the older versions of the simpsons 1-4, only carried the new s5 but was listed around 41 dollars

Ok, finally back to posting the full list of information. I took out anything over 8 weeks old, and the list of the old dead deals as they took up too much room, or were of questionable value.

If you buy both Fifth element and Leon in the same transaction, do you get $4 off EACH one? Or do you have to put them on separate receipts in order to get $4 off each?

Excellent deals! I'll be picking up Fifth Element, Leon, and Simpsons S5.

Thanks!

You should get the $4 off of each one-no need for separate receipts.

Much as Sweet Baby James said, you will get $4 off for each copy you buy. Leon and 5th Element both have the same item number, so there is no limit, nor do you have to worry about having too many on one receipt or not having enough.

I'll have to check that X-Men deal, though I'm not sure my Costco has any in stock anymore. That's pretty sweet though.

The deals should be good at all Costcos. You can ask someone to look it up before you buy to be sure, or just ask to speak to a manager if it doesn't ring up properly and tell them that your friend at another Costco said he got a discount.

At our Costco in Huntsville AL, the sign for the Simpsons read $31.29, but the sticker on the box read $30.29. A great deal either way with $8 off, but it did indeed ring up at $30.29.

Sweeeeeeeeet!
