Exactly! Don't forget, this is the store that actually has the nerve to price DVDs above the MSRP!

I got lucky because I just bought the OOP Monster Legacy Box Set for $ 64.95, which I think is a pretty good deal, considering that the DVDs alone would cost me almost the same price.

I asked about the Looney Tunes Collection vol2 at the local Wherehouse (would've been $49.00) but it wasn't part of the deal. I realize it's cheaper at DDD, but I had store credit to use. Little unclear as to what Collector's set's mean - is it things like ET, Schindler's boxsets or just certain multi-disc sets?

Saw this at Coconut's the other day, so its good there too. Even with the 25% off, most of the sets i was looking at came out higher than what other stores sell for. They were selling Schindler's List for $34.99, so it wouldnt qualify for the offer. Dont know about ET, they didnt have that one.

Not OOP, but still a pretty decent deal is the Samurai Classics set by Criterion. Dvdplanet's got the cheapest price I found at 64.96. FYE has it for 72.99 on their website (don't know if their pricing is regional), so after the 25%, that would be 54.74. I might try to swing by there this afternoon and see if they have one of these in stock.
