Disney Treasures Now $20.49 at Costco

Admittedly, this isn't a huge price drop (just $1.50 actually) but this is also the cheapest I've ever seen a Disney Treasure be. Costco has the three Wave 4 titles only. Some are marked $20.49, others still are maked $21.99, but they also ring up at the lower price. Good deal for a last-minute gift; it made me re-think my position on passing on the Pluto set.

Sams usually beats them by a few cents, but Sams (and Walmart) do regional pricing. Competition breeds lower prices, or no competition means they keep the prices high (and thus more reason for hating Walmart).

Sams is as low as $20.27 in major markets for The Disney Treasures titles. Can't beat these prices (Costco as well) and when they are gone, they are gone. No reorders available.

Great price, but the way they're packaged at Costco makes it impossible to find dentless tins.

Well, you can always return anything at Costco, so buy one, open it and inspect it. If there's any problem, just bring it back and buy another.

Question?

In todays mail I got a postcard offer to come in and visit Sam's Club as a GUEST for one day only. We have a Costco closer just up the road and Sam's is a bit of a drive out. Would Costco ever accept the Sam's Club pass for a one day visit to shop there? Anyone here ever try that?

Really, or are you being sarcastic? Costco is known for overdoing the packaging (used to have HUGE Bubble packs on the Disney Treasures line) since they are a wholesale club. I never have trouble with any damaged tins at Costco, Sams or Bjs. I see nothing but damaged tins at Wal-mart and other major retailers. The wholesalers are the way to go. This wave they are using Oversize cardboard packaging (which has to be better than nothing) and have the cheapest prices. Just my opinion.

I picked up Mickey Mouse Club today and it was tagged as 21.99 and rang up at 21.99. Was it a temporary price drop or a regional one?

Yesterday, at my Costco, they were $5 off, so $21.99-$5 = $16.99 each.
Automatic coupon at the register.
