If so, you must've gotten one of the newer books. Did you just pick it up at the store or did they mail it to you cuz you actually bought the Madden video game?

Finally, if it does expire on March 6, 2005 instead of 12/31/04, then that's definitely news to me. Can anyone else confirm this?

Dang, what do you know, it is actually 3/6/04 NOT 05. Sorry for the misinformation.

Damn glad the CSR yesterday did not notice when I bought Trek S3!

It was a madhouse in there today! It reminded me of the bargain bin at Walmart when they first started doing that.

Anyways, I picked up a couple Platinum hits and some of the $9.99 titles above. The Count of Monte Cristo (Caviezel) was $9.99; so was SNL Best of Chris Farley. Were these mentioned in the sale already...?

Yep, know about that. Still, not sure if that will a double dip worthy title, so I'd rather take my chances on this at $10. Plus, it's a blind buy for me.

Good lord! Surviving Chrismas is still at a local theater (second run). That has to be the fastest any movie has made it to home video.

I said the same thing too. In the DVDTalk thread, they said it's because since it's a Christmas movie, they need to release it during the holiday season so it was either rush it out for this Christmas or wait till next Christmas when everyone will probably have forgotten about it.

just in case you don't know, Best Buy has some gift cards called Video Gamer Gift Cards that have a $5 off a $19.99 or higher purchase on video games and video game accessory coupon on the back of those gift cards. The ones that expire on 12/31/04 are black and yellow. The ones that expire on 12/31/05 are green and silver. However, not all Best Buys have them out on the floor. You can usually find them in the video game season or where the gift cards are.

Also, since these items are on sale you might not be able to use it but most of the time I'm still able to use them cuz the CSR will just override it and give me the $5 discount.

Cool! Do these work if you purchase something already on sale?

Man I just completely zoned out during my transaction today - I think it was because it was so busy I just wanted to get out of there and get home. I forgot to pricematch, use my gift card and RZ card! How could I have forgotten all of that? All well, just laughed about it on the way home...

Get in the game Artman! This is no drill!!

You can still get your RZ points by going to the RZ website, entering in the Customer Service Pin from your receipt and total amount on the receipt. The appropriate points will be added to your RZ account in a few days. I have had to do the same on several occasions.

Shouldn't you still be able to pricematch ? Just bring it back with the ad and use their price guarantee (30 days find lower price or something like that).

Then, you still have the gift card for later use anyway. So, you still come away a winner, getting it all, just later on - another trip to the store.

Yeah, I've done the RZ pts on the website before, so I'll do that. The price-match was today only at Fry's, no big deal. If I see something within the next month I'll bring in my reciept - probably on the same trip I use the gift card.

What I didn't forget to do was price-match Top-Gun for last wk's purchase, she messed it up and ended up giving me $6 back - which she new about but just joked "Merry Christmas!" So, it wasn't a total loss.

I think I read somewhere that they changed the gamer cards to $5 off $29.99.

Peep: Yes they do.

I'm still finding the green & silver Gamer GCs at most stores. I'm also finding the X-Box/PS2/EA Game $5 off $29.99 games GCs as well.
