Does anyone know what the best price for LOTR: ROTK EE will be next week? Thanks in advance!

It's already on Costco's site for $24.99

I have a feeling that will be about the average price.

The best price for the ROTK EE Giftset is www.BN.com.

After using BNOFFER coupon, it comes out to $45.98.

http://video.barnesandnoble.com/sear...&linkid=373671

If you want the regular EE, they have it for $27.98 and you could buy some other stuff to get to $50 for the $10 off coupon.

Its $22.99 on Best Buy's site now and you get a $5 coupon on your next order.

Bad part is you pay shipping ($1.25 for me) and tax of course.

But still a good deal if you ask me!

Wait until Saturday to order it and you'll get free shipping. According to the following thread, BB is having free shipping this weekend.

Too bad you missed out on the Coconuts sale back in October, I got in on it for $17.84. Amazon with STL and A9 discount would be the best alternative though.

I got mine for

23.99 at Amazon + 25% coupon from American Express = $17.99 with free shipping over $25 dollars.

I might buy it from Amazon with STL and A9 but before I go that route, I'll try to trade in my 3 crappy DVDs this coming weekend at Gamestop. The store manager advised me to to call him Friday morning before I go there. We'll see how it goes...

I just missed out on the Coconuts deal so I ended up with the STL and A9 variation for $20.xx. Had to add filler (Spanish-English dictionary for my daughter's class) to get free shipping.

The BB deal looks good if you're planning to buy something else at BB but you have to factor in tax at least. Lucky if your state has no tax.

Barnes & Noble had a special with Discover card. Net shipped, w/tax is $19.06. Not certain the status of that deal now but you might want to do a search.

Coconuts has now screwed up two preorders of mine. I have my ROTK preordered with them, but I don't expect to see it based on prior experience. Not even exagerating, Coconuts has the worst excuse for customer service I've ever seen. I'm now looking for the next best deal since I have little faith in them following through.

The coconuts pre-order with coupon that we all got in on was in October. The rebate says you must have pre-ordered it starting November 1st.

Potential problem?

Can you use Reward Zone certificates on the site? I've saved a couple ($10 worth). $13 and change shipped would be nice. I wouldn't mind avoiding the store if I can.

Dude, I feel your pain. i could have written the same exact post....two preorders screwed up...two weeks after the movies were released and they still hadn't sent them out....yet, the site said both titles were in-stock. The only thing worst than that was their customer service, which was a series of precomposed responses to my specific questions.

Overstock.com has it for $22.99+$1.40 shipping.

Go to this page to get a link for 10% off
w w w.techdealcity.c om/coupon.php REMOVE SPACES
and scroll down for the Overstock coupons listed.

The coupon seems to work for anything in your cart, if you buy something else non-music, movie or books, your total shipping will be only $1.00. A lot of stuff that I would have gotten at Amazon was cheaper at Overstock even before the coupon, so I got some gifts at the same time to save on shipping.

My total on ROTK:EE was $20.69.

Note: Overstock pre-charges for pre-orders, some people seem to care about this, but it's coming out next week, so no big deal.

Thanks for listing the Overstock deal!

Is that version definitely the four disc widescreen version? I didn't see that mentioned in the Overstock product description. (Overstock Catalog #: Catalog #: 3202896)

Bob, there is no full screen version of the EE, they only release them in widescreen.

Michael, you can't use reward zone coupons on the website, they're good in stores only.
