Upcoming DVD discounts at FYE.com

I was in my bm FYE today (buying the $5 dvd rack and 25 pack of dvd r for $5-see my hot deal post) and they were giving out calendars with $50 purchase. I asked a purchase of a gc counted towards $50 and they said yes so I add enough to qualify and got the calendar which has $150 worth of coupons. (plus my crappy free CD)

I'll list them here:

$5 off an DVD prices $14.99 or more (3 of these with one expiring 3/31, and than the next one is good etc)
$10 off any box set over $29.99 (3/31/05 expire and than 2nd one good until 10/31)

2 for $22 (ANY 14.99 VIDEO)
2 for $30 (same)
$5 off $14.99 for each of the following companies (each has their own coupon)
Any WWE DVD
Any comedy Central DVD
Any Sesame Street DVD
Any Warner DVD
Any New Line DVD
Any Studio works
Any HBO
Any Red DVD
Any geneon DVD
Any MVD DVD
Any goodtimes DVD
Any ADV DVD

Cool, thanks. I have $75 in gift cards from FYE. I'll have to get one of these calendars. They have pretty cool deals with rebates, so hopefully these coupons can be combined with those...

I was wondering that myself but the rebated items are usually $19.99 with a $5 rebate making them $14.99. If I read the post correctly coupons are not good for those since there never seems to be $14.99's with rebates.

Am I correct or incorrect?

You could combine the $5 coupon with a rebate unless the rebate forbides it. The only problem I see is that most most the rebate items each month are also on "sale' ie they sell XYZ new release for $22.99, put it on sale for $19.99 and $5 or $6 rebate. Ymmv on getting them to apply coupon since it is on sale by $3.

So the rack is still on sale? I picked one up 2 weeks ago, and was kicking myself for not getting another one. The calendar is handy, and the one in Astoria was just giving them away with any purchase.

You missed the section above that one. There are also 3 coupons good for $5 off any DVD of $14.99 or MORE... Too bad these coupons aren't good right now. Daredevil DC is only 10.99 AR. Would be nice to get another 5 bucks off...

The calendar isn't in front of me right now but I think that the multiple studio coupons were $14.99 OR GREATER. There were only a few coupons specific for $14.99 titles ie 2 fo $22 , $30 etc. I will double check and let you know.
