Open Water "cheap" at DDD

If anyone is interested in purchasing Open Water, it's $14.35 over at DDD.

$15.19 over at DVD Soon (which most people won't touch), $20 in change over at Buy.com/DVD Empire/Digital Eyes, $17 bucks over at Amazon with STL, saving yourself $1.81 if you grab it from DDD.

Nice look, I thought this movie was better after I thought about it a little bit. I'll probably wait till it hits the PVD racks to grab it though.

The entire movie was made up, it just used the situation of the real life couple as a starting point. That's why the names, location, ethnicity, etc are changed.

Thanks. They're doing the same with Danny Deckchair (Miranda Otto and Rhys Ifans)

probably just incorrect specs..I don't think Lions Gate usually releases fullframe & widescreen editions, but I could be wrong..they tend to have wrong information with lions gate releases I've noticed sometimes... Univeral Soldier: SE for example, has the old non-SE picture for the cover art..

Most of the movie was in teh water (I'd say that maybe at most 20 minutes of the movie wasn't in the water and that was the time before they went scuba-diving).

You do see a nude shot of the girl.

Personally, to me, this was just an overhyped indie movie (a la Blair Witch Project) and I'd recommend a rental before buying something that you may not like at all (I hated this movie 1 star out of 4)

FWIW - This may not be a decent blind buy. I enjoyed it in the theater, and it certainly made me think afterward... but I'm not sure it really has a high replayability factor.
