Iron Giant: SE - $12.24 at Wal-Mart

At least it was at the wal-mart that I went to this morning. I know prices vary at wal-marts around the country.

I'm going with DV2 on this one. $11.94 shipped. I'd rather pay the extra $.80 cents to make sure it arrives before March.
It was $12.44 at my Wal-Mart.

I guess the deepdiscountdvd coupon is relevant, but I like it when someone posts where to get it at B&M for cheap too.

I just can't stand seeing a post like this get obliterated with DDD coupon info (or the popular coupon of the day/week so on).

For those who....

A) have already used the DDD coupon
B) Do not want to deal with DDD slow server or shipping
C) Dont mind spending a couple bucks more for getting it now
D) Convenient places (for example, I buy groceries at Target)

This is a good argument for having a "What's the best price for X" thread. That way, everyone can discuss places to get something cheap whether it be online or not.

Sometimes, these threads just seems to digress into a "I got it cheaper" competition. Maybe that wasn't the intention, but I just do not want to see these threads go away.

I agree with most of your points, but A isn't really valid, since there are about 20 DDD coupons.

Oh ok....didnt know that each one was allowed.

I thought it was a one 20% per customer. Makes sense though.

I would like to see it cheaper at local B&M, but the reality is this week with DDD sale, nothing is going to come close to there prices since you get free shipping and no sales tax (unless you are in Illinois). This weeks seems to be a bad example for best price.

I understand, but I guess I just saw this thread as informative and not looking for the best price for Iron Giant.

Thanks for the post! Picked it up at Wal-Mart for $12.24, well worth the extra $1.XX over DDD to have it just in time for an out-of-town trip with the little ones

I haven't seen this, but I'm blown away with it's popularity here on the forums, so much so that I'm considering picking it up to see what all the fuss is about!

I just picked this up for $12.24 tonight. Thanks guys!

***Edit: I know some people will get pissed off for me bringing this up but, is this supposed to come with an insert? I'm assuming it doesn't, but just checking because mine doesn't have one.

I put my order in first thing Tuesday to take advantage of the 20% off, and it was already backordered!

Says shipping ~11/26.

Thanks for the heads-up! I picked mine up at Wally World yesterday for $12.24. The last thing I ordered from DDD was The Untouchables SE. It came 3 weeks after it was released & I live ~ 35 miles away from them. Hopefully YMMV

I have had problems with DDD lately, it has taken 5 weeks for stuff to show up and one item hasnt shown up in 2 months, they just resent it to me again this week. I dont understand why they are taking so long lately for delivery?
