Blockbuster 3 PVD for $25 starts Friday 11/19
I was advised of this by an assistant manager at my local Blockbuster (Northern Indiana), should be the same at most stores.
Since you don't have any cash left after the DDD 20% off sale, go spend some of those BBV GiftCards burning holes in your pockets.

Sweet. Will probaly pick up Mean Girls, Butterfly Effect and something else.
Anyone seen Van Helsing or Dawn of the Dead (2004) on Previewed shelves yet?
I would have gotten Eternal Sunshine but... 2 disc in January.

Good deal, but i was under the impression that Blockbuster was dropping most of their PVD prices under 10 dollars, with many titles coming in below 9.99. If that's the case, it won't be much of a savings. I guess we'll see though, depending on whether your Blockbusters have begun the new pricing like some people have reported.

Since going to 2/$20 regular pricing, BBV has had a couple of 3/$25 sales and they have all been over the weekend within a week +/- of a major holiday. It makes sense that they would run this sale now with thanksgiving following it. It may even extend through thanksgiving, I think they did that on one of their 3/$25 sales.

My manager said it was Buy 2 Get 1 free but she didn't look on her computer or anything so I'm sure she was probably just spouting something off the top of her head. That happens a lot at my BBV.

I finally broke down and picked up some stuff I'd been waiting on at Hollywood last night, even though I still have over $100 in credit at BBV. BBV just takes way too long to put stuff out PVD. I picked up:

Jersey Girl
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Dogville
I remember stopping by HWV like 2 months ago and seeing Ladykillers and Jersey Girl, and yet, when I asked BBV when they'd put them out, they said December.

Does anyone know for sure if/when they're cutting the prices of the PVDs? I'd hate to go in for the 3 / $25 then come back a week later to find everything is $4.99

I called a couple blockbusters in my area this morning and both said that the 3 for 25 deal wasn't on.
Sucks, because I found somne good PVD's(Gangs of New York, The Rock, There's something about mary, Speed:special edition,etc that I've been hiding on their shelves

confirmed 3/$25 in New Jersey.
There were no large signs advertising it, only the plastic dividers within the previewed section, Also, used games are buy 2 get 1 free. And a separate deal on games, trade in any 3 games, get any used game for $10.
