I remember before I quit working there about 2 years ago that Blockbuster started pricematching other stores. Anyone know if they still do this?

Sorry if this belongs in the Store Forum, but I thought it'd be better suited here since a lot of people have a substantial amount of credit there due to their recent $8 buyback promotion.

The stopped this quite some time ago. Some store managers may still do it but on a whole BBV discontinued this practice.

It was much too customer-friendly, so they did away with it.

do they pricematch with themselve? I bought couple of boxsets from them.. and now they have 25% off.. they are pretty friendly bunch.. so i dont' wanna bring 2-3 boxset back and then rebuy.. to save like $30-$40 store credit.. Don't wanna make them/me feel awkward.. thanx

I just bought like 500.00 in box sets over the last 2 weeks. Can I bring in the receipts to get credit or return and rebuy? I don't mind either way.

I wouldn't bother but 25% off 500.00 is a nice chunk to buy more box sets.

it's store specific i think.. only at the store i visited has 25% off.. yeah.. i wish i would hold on for the 25% off also.. too bad.. by the way my store is in Walnut, CA.
