9 Fox TV season 1 sets (24, Millenium, Buffy, and Angel, etc) -- $14.99 at Amazon

Amazon has 9 Fox TV season sets on sale at up to 75% off. The strange thing is that the ones that have the big discounts seem to change at random. I bought season one of 24, Angel, Buffy, and Millenium at $14.99 because most of the other titles in the sale were coming up at 18% off (or something similar). Then when I went back to look at the page again, Roswell and Futurama had changed prices and were $14.99. When I used another browser to check the page (one that I wasn't signed in at Amazon with) the on-sale titles had changed yet again.

So anyway, your mileage may vary, but definitely check this out. Just go to Amazon's DVD store and it should be a link at the top of the page.

Here's the DVD Talk Link

I don't think it's a price mistake, I mean they're clearly advertising it.

Thanks. And thanks to the OP. This is rad.

Why would they cancel? It's clearly not a misprice, because they have a whole explanatory paragraph about it.

Awesome deal. But you're right, some of the titles listed on the sale page aren't showing much of a discount. Still, 24, Millenium and Roswell Season 1 for $14.99 each is a helluva bargain.

Thanks for the heads up. Not much I wanted, but hey, grabbed Millenium for $15 and added in the Shatner Has Been CD to get free shipping. I would have never bought Millenium if it wasn't for the price, but this will give me a chance to revisit the show. Now if only they had some series on sale...

Okay, I went to the Sale page again and now every title is showing up as $14.99. Maybe they fixed it.

STL???

sorry for this apparently very stupid question:

what does "share the love for..." or "STL" mean? are these people requesting for someone to order and pay for something for them out of the kindness and generousity of their hearts?

thanks

14.99 for new or used sets?

Maybe this is also a stupid question but are these prices for NEW AND FACTORY SEALED sets? I tried to find out on the Amazon's webpage but didn't see anything specifically saying so.

And they're from Amazon, not a marketplace seller; I don't think Amazon directly sells used stuff.

they're all new, directly from amazon (not marketplace seller) ...they ran this promo on amazon.ca a while back, but it wasn't very cost effective for USA people because of the shipping rates..

Man, this is a sweet deal. I wonder how long it'll last? I picked up Roswell, 24, Millennium, Buffy and Angel.

One of Amazon's best deals in quite some time for sure.

Bummer I already own about all of those, but I am going to order Roswell since I've been holding off on that one was well.

Now if they would only do WB season sets at this price...I have a few more on those I've been holding off on.
