I made an order earlier yesterday, then like 20 minutes later cancelled and re-ordered (was at like 10am yesterday?) and my estimated ship date I think changed to a week later..estimate shipping date is oct 22-26 and estimated delivery oct 26-nov 1 .. lol..hopefully it ships earlier than that..good deals regardless, even if I have to wait like 3 weeks

Anybody know if, through borders.com, I can use BOTH Borders gift cards and Amazon gift certificates?

You can, but, IIRC, it requries a two-step process. You need to have the Amazon gift certificate already applied to your account before the transaction. You can do this by placing an order with an amazon gift certificate and then cancelling that order. That credit will then be applied to your account. Now go through borders and complete your order as you normally would. Before applying your borders gift card, the system will first apply your outstanding credit.

That may be more complicated than is actually required, but I'm certain that this method should work. There may be an easier way as well, I don't know.

yep... much easier way... no need to place and cancel an order... just go here and enter your Amazon GC and then go back through the borders site...

ScottyWH, thanks for the link. I assume that all of these discussions involving Amazon GCs have been referring to "regular" GCs (the 14-character ones), correct? Does anyone know whether promo GCs (the 16-character ones) could be applied and "carried over" to borders.com?

I have used the Amazon promo GC's and the Borders gift cards on the same order. I didn't even have to go through the Borders site to do it. I just entered the promo GC in and then the Borders GC. I have made two orders using promo and Borders GC's and I made an order last night with Border's GC only going through the Amazon site. This should also work with Waldenbook GC's.

Choosing between Season 1 of those 2 shows? Angel wins, hands down.

I would say that Roswell has the better first season of the two shows. The only problem is that Roswell seasons 2 and 3 are not as good as the first season. Angel on the other hand gets much better as the seasons roll along.

I placed two orders yesterday. Today a got a shipping confirmation for one of the orders. I chose free shipping for both and the estimated shipping date was the 21st. I wouldn't have mind waiting but am glad that 1 of the orders has shipped so soon.

shipped
24 & King of the Hill

awaiting shipment
Angel, Simpsons, and In living color
(I also ordered a book in this order which may explain why it wasnt ship today)
