I didn't receive mine yet either. I wouldn't be able to watch it until the weekend anyway, so I be happy as long as I get it before Saturday.

Just check the tracking information. That should give you a real good idea of where it's at and when you'll get it.

Worthless since they use USPS for shipping. This is what I get.
The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on December 10, 2004 to expect your package for mailing. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later

I just checked my tracking information and it said the package was just shipped today from Bell, CA. That sucks. I might not get it for this weekend.

Well, the heck with the $7 rebate then. It's not worth it.

This was such a good deal and an important release for some members of my family that I sprung for expedited shipping. It will arrive today (based on the FedEx tracking info) up here in the Twin Cities. Another order (Top Gun) shipped the same day (no priority) via USPS and shows no signs of approaching Minnesota.

After seeing where these are all being shipped from I should have stopped by the warehouse when I was in southern California last week. I would have had it by last weekend!

So does anyone know what to do with the barcode/rebate situation? I really don't want to cut up the box for the UPC. Is a scan OK?

I did a scan. We shall see. There is no way I am hacking at the box for $7. Is anyone?

Make a scan or a copy of the UPC. With 1,000s of copies we'll either see the rebate or coconuts will see a lot of wasted customer serivce hours.

Here's a thought...
When you receive this from coconuts, can you take it to the nearest coconuts B&M with the packing slip, explain the situation to them and see if they'll print you one of the stickers that usually is found on the plastic wrap??
Since these stickers are accepted by the rebate company and it's really no work to print one of these out (is it??) maybe we'll get a sympathetic ear??

Same here.

It's really frustrating especially when many people got theirs when? 7 days ago?

BTW, my tracking "status" has been the same for the past week. "Your item has left our BELL, CA divison" or something of that sort.

Got mine today. According to the invoice it shipped on the 9th. I am on the East coast, so it must have gone via ground (media mail, I guess) from California.

Yep. Same here.

Funny....on their web site it says that they ship from different locations to speed up shipping time. But it seems like all the Rings DVDs came from Cali.

Guess that's the price I pay for getting a good deal.

I am sure shipping is not being helped by the holidays. It seems this gives a reason on why the post office is delivering things so slow.

I finally received mine today. I did start getting worried early in the week, but all is well. This is a horrible time of year to try and count on the US Postal Service, especially when the package is shipped via Media Mail.
