Just got back from Best Buy. It was on the self with a $14.99 sticker and rang up, yep, $14.99. The regular edition was on the $14.99 rack as well as in horror, but the extended version was in sci-fi only.
I didn't even rent this movie because I was waiting for the extended version but was off-put by the high sticker price. Nice find!

Guessing that it was a pricing/picture error. The recent price drop on the 1-disc version has had some retailers confused lately.
I went into Walmart a few weeks ago to PM the Resident Evil re-release and the clerk (thinking it was the two-disc one since that was the one in front of us) saw the Underworld price drop in the Circuit City ad I had. The clerk then asked me if I wanted to pick that up as well, so I said "SURE!"
Boo-yah $12.99 thank you! The recutting of the film does ad a little more to it, but the documentary (Fang to Fiction) is worth the lower price alone.

Argh! Anyone living in the Northern Virginia area that knows of a Best Buy where I could get the $14.99 priced disk? I went to the Sterling BB, but theyonly had one and it was $25. I'd really like to get the extended DVD, but just can justify spending the whole $25 on it.
Thanks,

Hey, you guys rock. I just got back from BB with my copy. All went well despite the cashier looking at me like I had tricked her when it rang up at $15.
Thanks to the OP and to the rest for the info.
