Question about deepdiscountdvd Star Wars Price

The cheapest place I can get it within driving distance is at Best Buy for $42.99 + the 20% off Madden coupon. My money is tight right now so I'm thinking of holding off until DDD runs their Christmas 20% sale.

Now, my question is, DDD has it for $41.88. Will the price go up after this week or will that be the normal price from now until whenever?

I asked my source this question. The first response I got was "ask again later." When I did ask again I was told "all signs point to yes!" Hope that helps.

All signs point to yes, it will be the normal price from now until whenever, or yes, the price will go up after this week? Please let us know asap, we're behind the 8-ball here!

My guess is that it'll go up a little. New releases at DDD are priced to beat the competitor's price by a buck or so, in this case beating Best Buy's 42.99. I'm sure that when the week ends it'll go up a few bucks.

It'll probably go up to $49.99 and then you can get 20% off if a coupon does happen to pop up this year.

Thanks, I had a hunch the price would go up after the first week but I couldnt' recall any instances where it did. I'll be picking it up sometime this week.

Try STL at amazon. It works out to less than $38

My experience has been that DDD often drops prices not long after release for non-sets, but that it is pretty hit-or-miss for sets.

Ditto, I got mine from Amazon with STL for around $37 (no tax, no shipping fees).

That's the best deal around.

well, star wars has been around $41 and change for a while at DDD, i dont think they will increase the price, if that was the case, when they had it for pre-order it would have been higher and would have only decrease this week, but that is not the case, i am also waiting for that 20% off in late november

Of course there's no guarantee that they will run another "20% Off" sale at the end of the year. But that would be my best guess also.

I bought from DDD using their "Lowest Total Price Guarantee" policy. They price-matched the Coconuts pre-order deal with the exception of the "10% Off" discount. That gave me a total price of just under $35. For me, this is pretty close to the Coconuts price (with state sales tax) and there's no rebate hassle.

And the Amazon STL deal is also a good one, as mentioned above.
